I had thoughts before that our I'd like to see us on a bigger pitch but we don't know how to use the pitches width/space, quite a few teams I've seen us against do so a bigger pitch surely just makes things worse for us. Although I would like it because it would mean it's easier to get the ball in behind for our quicker strikers

Interesting to see that 105 x 68 is very common in the top 2 divisions, but not so much in leagues 1+2. Not sure how much room is behind the goal at the Railway End, but not sure we could lengthen ours by 2 metres each end to match the length.

Presumably with the redevelopment of the Railway End coming, then the Popside in future, a larger pitch could be possible. The biggest change l’d like to see is the turf extended beyond the touch lines. Too often a player runs off the pitch and loses his footing on the astroturf.

How many tickets have we sold for this? I am expecting a big turnout as this is a massive game. If we lose, autos have gone for me and we will be looking over our shoulders to see if we even make the POs. We also have a lot of exiles living darn sarf.

Think it was 0-0 last time I went down there. Wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up the same.

For me its got 1 all nailed on. Take that all day. They're a good side at home.
If we get four points over Easter I'll be happy.

Are there any shocks we can see from 1st to 4th?

Wouldn’t have thought rugby pitches are all the same size? Cricket ground are all sorts of different sizes and shapes, even if the pitch is the same length Definitely with cricket grounds. Kent County Cricket Ground in Canterbury had a 27m high tree (admittedly not on the pitch - that would be silly - but within the playing area, which, of course, is absolutely not silly) until 2005. Can't help thinking that football could at times be improved with a tree or two - the goats, for one, would love it.

Are there any shocks we can see from 1st to 4th? I’d expect Carlisle to pick up at least 4 points from Tranmere (H) and Walsall (A). Same with Northampton from Newport (A) and Gillingham (H). Stevenage have Colchester (A) and Hartlepool (H) so that could be a possible 6 points although not the easiest fixtures in the world. We need to make sure we get minimum 4. Maybe Newport can be our Solihull for this Easter Weekend and take points off Northampton and then give us all three 🤞🏼
