Bit of a continuation from Why County. Be interested to know if any exiles watch another team if they cannot make a County game. If so who. Do not class myself as an exile and never have, but apart from a few pools games when we are playing down south its a case of no County no football now for me.

Nope, lived in Scotland for 10 years, thought about going to watch Annan Athletic but never did, living in Lincolnshire I once went to see Brigg Town but I’d got the date wrong and they were playing away. But then I never watch any football in the telly other than County, don’t like the sport really

Not an exile anymore but lived in Edinburgh and then London from 2009 to 2018. Went to Hibs a couple of times as I lived round the corner and was at a loose end. Not a “fan” but I check in a few times a season and did a little grin and a fist pump when I saw they beat Hearts the other week.
Did a few proper non-league games with London mates who were all from elsewhere (Bolton, Leeds, Liverpool) but was really just somewhere to have a pint or a few cans, at the time it was all too familiar and depressing as it was prime Banter Era for County.

I used to watch Oldham quite a bit ages watched a bit of old scarborough.
With a young family and a non football fan wife I prioritise watching County. Would watch Farsley otherwise.

Went to the odd game when I lived in London years back, mainly as a means of ticking off grounds I'd not been to before. Did the same pre-Covid when I was down there twice a week; managed to go to the Emirates and Stamford Bridge for games in the Europa League. Would do the same if I was working in any other city with grounds I'd not been to.
Went to Alty the other week on a Friday night for something to do but haven't got any allegiance to any other club.

Went to 3 Stoke games in 1982-3 when I was at Uni. Stood on their kop for a 1-0 midweek win over United - great atmosphere. You do tend to get carried away with it, but even at the time, the late Stoke winner was nothing like a goal at County, even with regular sub-2000 attendances.

I’ll watch any cricket, whether or not it’s one of my teams, loads of motorsport without having any particular allegiances, but haven’t watched a match other than County in donkeys years, never really did bother with any other club football, but used to watch every game of World Cups and Euros, just don’t have the interest any more

Lived in Preston for four years around uni, so used to go to deepdale a handful of times a season. Still keep an eye out for their results and work/ still mates with loads of PNE fans.
Also lived in Derby for 12 months as well but only went a couple of times to Pride Park, so don’t have the strength of feeling as I do with PNE.

Live football here on Sunday-Parish cup where Sanday take on Deerness. My first live match since County in September. Hope there's not as many broken limbs as in the last match here-kept the air ambulance very busy that day.

I don’t particularly like football either. I haven’t watched much on TV for years, and always thought that was down to not really caring about the teams. However, I realised during Covid that I didn’t much like watching County on TV either. it’s all about the atmosphere / sense of community / being part of something / connection with the club. The actual football comes a very different second to that stuff.

Only time I've been to a non-County match was to watch Preston batter Leeds 6-4 at Elland Road in 2010. Ten years of living in Leeds for uni and I only went there once

I think it’s just how tribal football is, I can have a great day watching cricket even if my team looses, and watch loads of motorsport where who wins is irrelevant to me, but I’ve never enjoyed a County loss, once or twice I’ve been satisfied, like the most recent West Ham game, but that’s a fingers of one hand thing in 30 years

Nope. Three reasons:
1. Would be a waste of my season ticket. 2. I have Saturday working commitments to consider 3. Not really interested in anyone else. But will keep an eye out for certain scores (you know, things like my Dad's team and clubs supported by knobheads I know so I have ammunition as needed).
