Not sure, don't think it would be as high as Wigan's was should we get to League One.
What are you talking about..? Wigan were in Administration when he took over Whilst Richardson had succeess at Wigan (and some failure), he’s a bit of an unknown entity as a manager. To suggest he’s objectively better than Challinor who has potentially two promotions in two years with us is bonkers.

Wigan were in Administration when he took over I don’t know anything about their budgets but Wigan came out of administration on the 30th of March 2021, the season after is the one they won League One in. Yes, but he was appointed and kept them up whilst in Admin and then turned them into Champions the following year, of course finances improved but it was a hell of an achievement and they played entertaining attacking football He’d be great here

Anyone would think we're looking for a new manager when the bloke in charge has delivered a promotion against the odds last season and finished 4th this season, we're just a home win away from Wembley where he could win a 2nd promotion, the guy's a serial promotion winner.

If he wins the playoffs he will undoubtedly be given the chance to have a crack at League One

There’s plenty of better Managers out there; Leam Richardson is a strong candidate for me, track record of winning League One and didn’t run off when Wigan’s finances collapsed so some decency in there too Why..? Probably more to do with DC limitations tbh, he’s a very basic meat & two veg Manager, really effective when things are going well but absolutely clueless about how to change things when they are aren’t (and worse still he’s developed a habit of changing things as soon as we go ahead pushing Akil into defensive midfield which stops us playing altogether) Richardson has had some very interesting articles written about him in the past year or two, his ability to create an attacking team who are also solid defensively Leam Richardson is most famous for putting the cones out for Paul Cook. Their budget at Wigan was massive and it was the same when he had a successful season as the number 1. Not that I’m wanting DC out but firstly I think that’s not really fair or true from what my Wigan supporting friends tell me. But even if we pretend it is then he sounds perfect for us considering we’ve got a huge budget and failed to win the league.

If we wanted someone to spend all the budget and f*ck us over for future seasons, he could be the man. If we want him to put the cones out for Paul Cook, he definitley is the man. Most people from Leeds are thick as f*ck and football illiterate. It's a Rugby City. It's a no from me.

Okay 😳 Why do you think Wigan are back playing Fleetwood next season? He spent the whole budget on crap. He's directly responsible for that clubs demise. Whelan will despise him after keeping hold of the coffers during his time there- and his grandson. A good manager treats the club as his own, not a free bar. Richardson should be nowhere near this football club. Yet again Dave Schofield has shown his naivety by even suggesting him.

Whelan will despise him after keeping hold of the coffers during his time there- and his son. It was the ridiculous stuff about putting out the cones and people from Leeds knowing nothing about football that was unbelievably stupid… I presume you were joking though right? I presume he spent the budget he was given and it wasn’t huge in comparison to most other Championship clubs either. Are we blaming Dave Challinor for the money we’re spending? Of course not. If he hadn’t have got sacked by Wigan he wouldn’t be available. He obviously made some errors but still got more points per game than their other two managers I should imagine. It also seems that Cook isn’t as half as successful without Richardson.

I remember people saying he basically relegated Wigan by saying he needed loads of players to compete. This was on the opening day. The players must have been distraught. A good manager and coach actually moulds the squad he's got, he doesn't just demand new signings. He threw them under the bus. He'll get a job somewhere else but he's not the man for here. We want to go forwards not backwards.

Exactly. At times you would think we have been in a relegation and not a promotion fight. You can name plenty of managers who had success at one club and been abject failures at another and long time assistant managers coming a croper once they give the top job a go. Doubt there is a single manager in the game that could have cobbled together a better side last saturday with their club having the bare bones to pick from with the top 3 goalscorers out unless they really gambled which does not happen in todays game.
