As we wait for the heavy shit at the end of the week and hopefully more the week after and the inevitable boredom of the close season. What new bands and music do you want to shout out at the moment or just witter on about music from the past (that will be me)? It's Tuesday you Jeremy.

I’m at that age where new music has begun to sound strange and confusing. Don’t think I’ll ever find anything much better than Part Chimp.

The Goa Express are a good new band (except for the fact that they're from Burnley). The Bug Club are also worth a mention, as are The Murder Capital. Saw them at the Ritz in February and it was a wall of noise!
I heard a song from a Manchester band called Nightbus yesterday which I also thought was great. Very Sisters of Mercy/Bauhaus esque!

I’ve created a Wembley playlist for the drive down on Saturday PM with my brother. Generally football or County related (Que Sera Sera, Blossoms, Jamie Webster, Depeche Mode etc) - suggestions welcome!

Just For Tonight by One Night Only, solely as it was the song Sky used for the playoff coverage in 2008.

Your too good to be true the Boys town gang version. Remember it playing through the crackly speakers in the Pop side. Circa early 1980's.
