Most improved award!!! He must have been practicing somewhat as they've gained 20 yards over the course of the season.

Got to imagine he's been having one to one tuition with Dave Challinor.

Personally think he just had his weetabix for breakfast instead of oats and banana.
It's the only reasonable explanation and won't hear anything else

He’s definitely worked on it. Him and Joe Lewis were threats today.
I’m all for it!

Once it seemed only us with flynny and tranmere with DC who used this tactic now everyone seem to be at it. Good or bad thing, well like a lot its good if it works for us but i cannot say i like it.

The team then would be accused of having no plan B in games it does not come off.

Andy Kilner had a hell of a long throw on him which was very handy with Big Kev up front.
Remember a game at Burnley when Kilner "followed through" with his knee on the opposition midfielder who was stood on the touchline. The ref and linesman followed the ball into the box. Also a very windy day at Doncaster when the ball appeared to go out on the other side of the pitch.

It’s a great tactic to have and one that’s been noticeably missing from our game.
Our turn to give the opposition something else to think about, whether Hippo hurls it in or decides to go short.

Since he started using it we jokingly call it “the medium throw”, because until yesterday it was certainly not long. No surprise we scored from the one yesterday though, we were in a state of shock about how far he threw it.

Amazing how he’s developed the technique, it’s another piece in our armoury. Hippo has been one of our best signings given he was completely off the radar and came from a poor Scunthorpe side. He has his share of ineffective games but he was excellent after he came on on Saturday.
