Think we’ll hit the 16k+ mark by tonight.
And will have sold around 23k in total come Sunday, which would be a terrific effort.

I’m interested to know why people think they’ll take more than us. Travel for them looks a nightmare. You know what Scots are like when it's a game at Wembley. Ha, ha very good, out of the 8 of us in our people carrier 3 are Scot's and we have a half and half, I'll do my best to keep them off the crossbars. I'm going for 17,000 of our lot and 22,000 of your lot

I’m interested to know why people think they’ll take more than us. Travel for them looks a nightmare. Don't think we will mate to be honest, trains are almost non existent, plus the ones that are running have increased their fares dramatically. We can't get a hold of buses, one of the local companies yesterday managed to acquire another 2 buses, then stated that they were charging £100 each for the pleasure of a 13 hour round trip. I already know a couple of people (both regular attendants at Brunton Park) have decided to 'sod it' and watch on the TV. Added to that the short notice and the expense, and the cost of living crisis, then its not surprising people are very wary of going. I see tonight we're up to 14,000 which I think is OK, I can see it increasing, but I think 17,000 will be absolute tops. Think you lot will take over 20,000.

Aye I was just adding it up in my head: Match ticket £44 Hotel £80 each Mini Bus Hire £50 each then petrol on top Tube from Watford to Wembley £10? Return So that's £184, before Food Drink Petrol and any other expenditure. Going to be an expensive weekend, better not tell the Mrs.

Yes and its football where after spending all that your team puts on a sub standard performance and ends up getting a hammering. Its not like going to a pop concert to see your favourite singer or band when you have a good idea of what is on offer. Finals are great when you are on the winning side but absolute hell when you are not. Another reason i,m not going as i have seen us defeated 4 times there and missed our only win in 2008. Even going as more or less a neutral the team i preferred to win there never has done both in football and rugby league. At least watching on the box i can turn it off if we are getting hammered to watch a repeat of lovejoy.

We sold 500 tickets between 3pm yesterday and 9 am this morning according to SCFC Twitter At that rate if it’s right we will struggle to shift more than 3k. Giving us about 16/17k sales total.

There may be a few people waiting for pay day on Friday (it's not mine but I know last Friday of the month is reasonably commonplace) so hopefully we will see a bit of a spike then. Also the club made a comment about sourcing more coaches, if they manage to do this and time the announcement right it may entice a few who may otherwise not have bothered. I've heard so many people say they would go but for the insurmountable logistics / expense of getting down there for a 1:30 kickoff so they're going to settle for watching on Sky.

Most County Fans who can get to Wembley will do one way or another but the financial reality right now means the friends & family who normally swell the numbers taken to Wembley are likely to give it a swerve this time
If we get our usual 17/18k that will be a decent effort and anything over 20k phenomenal - so far we are selling well and as long as the top tier remains closed there will be a decent looking crowd and a great atmosphere

I can't see that happening based on sales so far. Anything approaching 20k would be great.

Why the obsession with how many fans we are taking? Looking on here and social media that's all some people can think about

Why the obsession with how many fans we are taking? Looking on here and social media that's all some people can think about I think people (me) are fearful the atmosphere won't be up to much - must admit, some of my enthusiasm for the day has gone with the slow tickets sales and some of the negativity I've read about how bad the atmosphere is likely to be.
