Well the fake stuff they have might be, probably tastes dreadful mind, I'm sure it will be fine in a barm with a bit of sauce 🤣 As a life long vegetarian I can confirm that vegan cheese tastes like vomit and I've pretty much tried them all, never yet found one that comes close to being edible. This is also the reason I'm not a vegan. Another long-term veggie here that has never been very impressed with vegan cheese substitutes. Whilst, not surprisingly, I think the growth of veganism is good news, a lot of the meat/dairy substitutes are ultra processed foods and I am not sure how healthy they are if you have them as a large part of your diet.

Pumped for the meat pie discourse again. Really excited. tickets will NOT be sent down to the ground so. Pick up from EP only Cheers mate and you calmed my nerves for the Tranmere game but what on earth is this situation where you have to go to EP or rely on a crap postal service? I appreciate we've had loads of comments on away tickets but I'm bored tonight 😁

There's another game (I did post on the correct thread about it, I believe crawley but they allow pay on day)

I could give up meat and hardly eat much anyway but cheese is another level of things to give up. I'd find it easier to give up cheese and dairy foods. But then I hate cheese, milk, cream, custard, ice cream, etc... Same here. Just need to compare the smell of a joint being cooked to that stink that comes from cheese to make your mind up. Liked milk till i went to school as i,m still convinced it was watered down.

Any recommendations 'cos all the ones I've had were vile! Like others have said it's the only thing stopping me going full vegan. Either Starbucks or Costa do an acceptable vegan Mac and cheese so I guess it must be possible!

There's loads but off the top of my head. www.instagram.com/thewalnutgatherer?igsh=cWNoMnloZmNzNXV5Based in Chorlton. Cultivated from Cashew. Incredible www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/la-fauxmagerie-shoreditch-smoked/688266-780113-780114These guys have their own shop online but are in Waitrose and have a range. This is my favourite. honestlytasty.co.uk/blogs/news/honestly-tasty-available-at-marks-and-spencerThese guys are amazing and are in Marks now. vegankind.com/These guys stock loads of brands. tynechease.com/These are pricey but also Cashew based and top notch. My personal taste for regular day to day is that Cathedral City have f*cking nailed it. All their plant based stuff is top notch. Sheese, which are based the Isle of Bute, used to be average but they've changed their recipe massively over last few years and their cheddar and mozzarella is really good. Applewood also do a good smoked one, if you like smoked flavour.

Probably not but for 35+ years i have been searching and trying them out so I can't be too far off, and I'm very much still on the hunt. Lack of a palatable cheese substitute really is the only reason I'm not a vegan.

A few I've definitely looked at but a couple I've not. Will have a try. Thanks.

I eat very little meat (apart from when I go for a Brazilian Rodízio meat frenzy). I couldn’t go fully vegan though: chorizo, bacon, chicken tikka and cheese (various types) just too good to deny myself.

Just been chicken and fish for me for the last 25 years, I'm cutting down on my chickem intake but I can't give up fish especially when I'm back in Spain.

Good job FGR exist to allow fans to tell each other their eating preferences. The game seems a secondary thing to all this.

We've got 1224 ticket for this but the only ones on sale atm are uncovered terraces down by the corner flag. Why not just put them all on sale so I can make a proper decision about where to be in the ground? Are the next batch behind the goal? Or further up the side?
