I think I may go for Sky TV and County audio (as I have paid for the year) but suspect the two may not be in sync. Tried that watching a mid week pools live visual stream away with the sound off and radio tees audio and it was about 30 seconds behind the audio one.

Really feel SKY are messing fans around. That bit in the clause, if true is unfair. We can't all afford or in my case have access to the SKY platform. As we are still in the mix, we can possibly look forward to more disrupted fixtures. I know the club get money for being screened by SKY but it's not just the ability to watch the match, it's booked train, accommodation time off work etc. One of the penalties of being a successful club, I suppose but not happy about it. It could be a lot worse though if you supported a premier league side or in scotland celtic or rangers and attended games. Just how many home games do these clubs play with a 3pm saturday KO across a full season.

Let's see how today goes but it could help us manage the squad. We've only just got enough to make an 18 and 0 depth in some areas, like RB. Of the bench today, I think only Tanto and Camps go in and don't weaken (in fact could strengthen) the side. Then it sounds like only Croasdale is close to a come back in the next 2 weeks. So we really need to keep that 18/19 fit and fresh. I’d say Bailey coming on also didn’t weaken us.

He's been out of sorts since signing for us permanently and I'd had comfortably started CLE/Hippo etc. ahead of him Saturday. First half of the season though, he was a relevation and he had a good cameo yesterday when most of midfield was very quiet. He'd start for me vs Salford for that reason and hopefully playing against his former club gives him that bit extra.

For the next three games, we play after everyone else. Could be an interesting fortnight or so.

For the next three games, we play after everyone else. Could be an interesting fortnight or so. Hopefully a bit of added motivation or realisation that, if we don't lift our game, we won't be promoted. DC is adamant that he doesn't look at the table, only considers his next game and the target points total, and the group is very level - not that high for a win, not that down for a loss. Who am I to argue with DC?! But I think the knock of confidence of recent results has shown itself on the pitch. The players may not admit it or openly realise it but we have generally been too slow/safe - probably triggered by the desire keep clean sheets after Crewe and Tranmere then the pressure of breaking the goal drought after that. You can't tell me the players aren't checking the table too. It's all about mentality now. Hopefully the previous NL and L2 promotions in the squad count. I thought the crowd stepped up a gear Saturday too and has realised that promotion isn't a given (and never was) and the players need our backing even when not performing.

I'm struggling to see why SKY have picked this to televise, other than it giving the Neville a chance to impress us with his knowledge (or lack of) L2 football. They obviously think that it is a big match for both fans given the geography; in reality going by threads on here to many its just another fixture and a possible 3 pts. I'd love to know where this "rivalry" with Salford and County started.

I'd love to know where this "rivalry" with Salford and County started. There is no real rivalry. Despite it's close proximity it's never even felt like a derby game. Their fans don't particularly like us & there's the element of us not liking the United involvement, maybe a very tiny bit of jealousy on our part in the non-league years when we were in our darkest moment & they were on the rise with investment, their documentary, & being the media darlings of the time & the money they were rumoured to be paying in wages when they were in the National league & their 1st year in the league but any so called rivalry feels manufactured to me. Even some of their fans were saying this season that their project had stalled & were starting to understand how they're portrayed as a vanity club, some of them were even hankering after a return to non-league for a reset & being closer to their true identity. The appointment of Karl Robinson as manager is a decent one IMO & it'll be a tough game, a win for us will be great purely as another step towards promotion not because of any geographical rivalry.

I'd love to know where this "rivalry" with Salford and County started. Yeah, there is no rivalry. The two home games against them in 2016/17 (we played them in the cup and league on consecutive weeks) had a bit of interest as they were in the spotlight for the Class of 92 stuff and we'd been starved of any game with any interest since the Chester 4th QR game in 2015, which is why the FCUM games were trumped up far beyond their actual importance. The games away at Salford have always been a bit of a farce. The first one in 16/17, when Lloyd scored, they had an open car park behind one goal and the traditional brick stand on the half way line. Felt like there was only about 2000 there. They threw up the other stands quickly and in 17/18 it was more or less what it is now. It's the least derbyish of all the local league games. It feels more like playing Curzon Ashton than Oldham, or even Bury. There's no history between us, no shared experiences, there's just nothing there. There's no atmosphere because they haven't got any fans to give it out. This will be the fifth time we've played there, I've been to each game, and it's not one to circle in the diary. The only thing going for it is when it'a Saturday afternoon and you can have a drink in town before getting a taxi up.

At least Salford have a genuine history despite the changes that have taken place. FCUM fans were the weirdest most self entitled bunch we ever had the misfortune of having to suffer in non-league thinking they'd re-invented football, create a new club because they're unhappy about the club they originally followed then spend all game singing songs about the club they deserted & who can forget the utter plum sat in the away section with a placard declaring 'Gannon is a peado' didn't they also have the audacity to have a supporters club based in the magnet for a while? I like the magnet, great pub, but I gave it a swerve on principal during that period, don't think it's a thing anymore....pretty much like FCUM

Those who went into the friery or walked on castle street just did everything possible to avoid eye contact with you or speak if you were wearing any form of colours.

Unless I've missed an announcement somewhere, you can't stream it from County unless you're outside of the UK: " Which League 2 games can I watch next season?
Domestic Supporters:
County fans based in the UK will be able to live stream the following fixtures next season:
  - All scheduled midweek matches (unless selected by Sky Sports)
  - Displaced weekend matches – matches which are moved from Saturday 3pm kick-offs for non-TV purposes (at the discretion of the home club)
  - Bank Holiday matches (at the discretion of the home club)
  - All games that take place during an international break." Really feel SKY are messing fans around. Now TV day pass is 12 quid or so.
