Roughly how many tickets were left before the sales were pulled? Few hundred?

Called to amend my new seats but told they can't amend until they go back on open sale... crazy that. Could be sold out by the time I call and wouldn't be able to swap! Could you put it all in an email and ask them to sort it as soon as they go on open sale? If you can't call at the required time?

Called to amend my new seats but told they can't amend until they go back on open sale... crazy that. Could be sold out by the time I call and wouldn't be able to swap! I know it's annoying but you might have to take the hit with this one. When it kicked off again I decided that getting into the ground would be enough. This is going to sell out so i just thought if I'm in the ground then that's fine. I used to commute from Huddersfield to Leeds (and I think suedehead will relate to this). I used to get an early finish near horsforth on Fridays which used to put me on the 16.55 train from Hull to Manchester Airport in Leeds. It was always packed with students and it stopped at dewsbury. It was never more than 3 carriages (3 car dave as it was known when I worked on the railway). It was always 3 late into Leeds which meant people early for the strengthened 17.08 would go for it. Occasionally you'd get people with suitcases wanting to go to the airport with booked seats at Leeds. Like fools they'd stand back and let all the commuters on thinking they'd be able to get their booked seats. They couldn't even get on the train as people were blocking the doors and aisles. As for the enalogy this game is like the 16.55 to be honest I'm just grateful to go through the door. And to be fair I've sat in the front couple of rows for the Halifax game. When people start to congregate at the bottom you can move backwards. The bigger issue for me is this. One of my friends wanted to go to the harrogate match (he's a red from Bramhall oh dear and all that). Anyway he messages me about getting tickets. I said try to get tickets in the harrogate end (he's from Bramhall but now lives in yeadon near Leeds Bradford so he could pull the local card with harrogate) at least it'll have a roof. Or ask for returns at the ticket office. They went to the ticket office and the only tickets left were on the Railway end. They left after 70 mins as it was an awful day and they were soaked but when you look at the highlights there's plenty of seats in the Cheadle End and pop side block one. Why aren't these for sale? That's the big question. The Cheadle end ones I suspect they're people who go somewhere else. Like lt1 or ut3. The pop side block 1 are families of players. When I sat in there for the hartlepool match it was clear that Croasdale's children, Paddy's family and knoyle's family were there. Children were getting passed over the barrier for the lap of honour. If these are players comps then more needs to be done on the day to sell left overs to fans. If I was getting soaked on the Railway end I would want to know why I couldn't have a spare seat in the pop side. It could also be spare comps that aren't used from the flag bearer scheme. Again can the club do something about this? Can the club find out at 14.00 what tickets are spare and offer those up to people on the Railway end? Or in cases like harrogate find out if people are neutral and if they are put them in the away end. Until we have some more capacity the club need to utilise existing capacity as best they can.

Yeah, I'm biting the bullet on this one. Shite seats but hopefully I'll be deep into celebrations by kick off so won't care as much!

It’s more that being angry about it won’t change anything. It’s a mark of how crap the ticketing has been that I’ve gone past anger in the stages of coping, and am now trying to reach zen! It IS crap though. For a number of reasons, I can’t get to enough home games for a season ticket to be worth it, so for the foreseeable future I’m going to be at the mercy of competing with people in United gear to get into the ground, even though I’m a former ST holder and fan of 30+ years standing. I know there’s no way for a system to account for that, and I welcome the higher crowds and growth of the club as we develop. If the ticketing system can work well, that’s not an issue. As it is, it’s stressful and rubbish. I miss midweek games when i have to drive both ways in the dark as i can watch the live stream at home. Possibly i lose a bit having a ST, but its well worth it missing out on obtaining tickets on a game to game basis. A conspiracy theorist would think the club might be doing it on purpose to sell even more ST. A way round this for people like you is for the club to have a loyalty ticket for sale for a tenner where holders get first dibs of all home league tickets and second in line for cup games. Tourists then would get whats left.

I think a lot of empty seats in sold out stands are from cheap kids season tickets, a good idea of you’ve loads of spare capacity, but probably needs parking until the redevelopment is done

We need at the moment to encourage fans to inform the club of their non attendance to allow others to see the game. Surely it cannot be that difficult to do.

Definitely not one to be attempted while we’re with Future Tickets that, can you imagine the chaos?

Missing the remaining games (!) but made sure our season tickets have gone to friends/family who often attend games.
