Not disputing he works hard but he's a wide player and he cannot cross a ball or beat a man. Over hit every ball into the box the other day and positionally he's poor.
As I said for where we are yes he's fine and better than what we have had recently because he at least tries but we should be aspiring for better at all levels from the club.

The drum drowns out the singing with the crap out of beat unneeded banging. Sorry, but that's just bollocks. I've been to games where the drum hasn't been there and it's as flat as a pancake. The drum gets people going and makes a bit of much needed noise. Spot on there. Long live the drum The future is blue and white and the drum

Howard is a very decent player for this level, and he works harder than any player we've had since administration. He deserves a song. Go for it, Pat. Oh, and the drum is the only reason there's any atmosphere left at all in the Cheadle End. Anyone who has a problem with it should stop whinging and start singing instead. Then we wouldn't need it. Spot on mate!

We managed without a drum for years and would manage again. People have just got lazy.
Regardless, if it's staying then whoever has it needs to stop drumming the words.

We managed without a drum for years and would manage again. People have just got lazy. Regardless, if it's staying then whoever has it needs to stop drumming the words. When I was a drunken teenager in the mid 90's me and my mate used to stand at the back of UT3 banging the back of the stand to create a bit of rhythm and add to the atmosphere. In fact my mate broke his hand doing that once. Fortunately we'd got through that much cider he barely felt it. It does definitely improve the atmosphere, whether we have 2000 or 10000 in EP. It's only some songs he drums to the words to. When he's drumming to Blue Army it sounds miles better. Maybe someoneelse could bring his own drum down and show the lad how it's done?

Maybe not.
And he drums the words to almost everything. It's properly shite and wouldn't happen if we had a half decent team to watch and more people starting songs. I've done my bit on that score many times years ago.
That contrived 'der der' we do when we've scored can go and f*ck itself too.

Apart from that I'm quite happy, obviously.
