Luckily some of us persevered over there or they'd probably have shut the side down (or just given it over to 27 Brackley fans). But I suppose my point is that if you're making it about popularity, that is about personal choice. And if somewhere is more popular, do you make it more or less expensive than the other stands...? I think if you've got a choice of terracing or seating, that's a reasonable basis for different pricing, and I think we all agree a stand without a roof should be cheaper, but once you start pricing seated, covered stands differently, that starts to get much trickier, I think. Might be a bit trickier but popularity of a seating area apart from in sport is the reason you get charged a different rate for it as you get the better view apart from a theatre box where its more about being seen than seeing. What will happen in that scenario is that the Cheadle End would be charged more, rather than anyone else being charged less. It's a cynical view, I know. But it's the likely outcome.

Elwood would have increased individual seats if he could have found a system to do it and charged differently for every single league game we played. Still niggled about the league cup price hikes and the Boro ticket allocation and some are still wary of Mark Stott.

So I am a visual type person, and was looking for a map of League One clubs so I can compare it to the fixture list, my time off etc. I am putting in 2024-2025 League One map (and EFL League 1 map) etc - and I get results like 2019 Premier Clubs etc. Surely there must be one out by now - we've known since May who was in each league. Anyone have a good lead on this?

I do hope we never do that. Wasn't that a McKnight decision? I agree that it's best to have universal pricing, but for me, a roofless Railway End is so inferior to what is offered elsewhere that a lower price could certainly be justified. Yeah McKnight "revolutionised" ticketing with that policy Prior to that the Popside and the Main stand were more expensive than the Cheadle End. As a Popsider I was obviously pleased with the new status quo 😂

Not really for universal pricing for a ground like EP. Always found the seated pop side the worst view of the 3 covered sides and sat in the open in a boiling day and later freezing rain is worth even less. Back in the days of standing at every ground you knew the seated main stands would cost you more. Seats in cinemas and theatres vary also for watching the same performance so why should football be any different. Horses for courses though. I agree about the RE because of the lack of a roof, but I can't be doing with the Cheadle End view. I acknowledge others don't like the view from where we are on the Pop Side. That's all fine, but how do you price that difference in? Shh Moz, they're trying to make our stand cheaper Oh yeah awful, awful the Popside. Should be the cheapest part of the ground, especially once the new Railway End goes up

I don’t mind a Friday night game just before Christmas at all.
Pisser for Peterborough fans but great for us.
