Memorial Day 2024 will be held at the Royal Scot in Marple Bridge on Friday the 9th August starting from 11am. An opportunity to remember and raise a glass to those we have lost. There is usually club attendance, Steve Bellis represented the club most recently, we are expecting the league two trophy to be there too. All are welcome!

I'm checking flights now on a daily basis. I hope I'll be able to make it to this again this year.
I'll be needing a ticket for the game too. If any of you out there have an ST but can't make it for any reason, please could you give me 1st refusal? Thanks. Feel free to delete this last bit if contravenes any rules Terry.
Hope to see you in August.

Excuse my Ignorance, but when did memorial day become a thing in the UK? I know we have the 11th of the 11th, just no clue when this started

This is a County specific day, been going for a good 20 years Ah, that explains it. Ithought I'd gone mad(der) & completely missed some national day. Again apologies for my ignorance & have a great MD It’s about remembering our mates and fellow County fans, there are lads who used to attend who are now remembered.

We held a wake for him after the funeral at the Royal Scot and we've done it every year since before the the first home game of the season. Sadly, the list gets longer every year. We've lost a few that were far too young to be on the list as well. Has Bellis confirmed if a) he's coming & b) bringing the trophy?
