Ive yet to see a decent team in this division it's just who makes the fewest mistakes and has a bit of luck, lets see where we are in another 5-10 games. I agree, a decent team in this league is just a well organised one, the standard of players is a lot lower than the Conference. I can't think of an opposition player that I've seen at EP in the games I've been to that has particularly impressed me. I think Lord has made some good signings in recent weeks and we've started looking a bit more of a team. I don't think we really have the depth or quality to charge up the league but it's good to see us moving upwards nonetheless.

Yep wouldn't disagree with any of that, when Telford turned up they were near the top and supposedly a good team and although it was a tough game they didn't really stand out as being any better than anyone else.

Alty away are the only team that particularly impressed me, well organised with a pair of decent strikers.

[br Agree but Telford were certainly the best actors, duping the ref. some of their players fell to the ground if touched, it was embarrassing and ridiculous that a ref would fall for it. Lost count of how many free kicks were awarded by that ref. it is obviously working for them as they are top or near top.

They were you're right, a bit like when Wrexham came to EP last year, it does make me wonder if we're a bit naive on that score not that i condone diving and rolling around like you've been shot of course.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this but I notice Gainsborough are currently winning 2-1 at home to Altrincham.
Other results are currently
Boston 1-2 Workington Stalybridge 0-1 Barrow
It's a weird league this one.

I hazard a guess after reading the match report and managers comments in the Lincoln echo there will be major aggro for the players if they don't win after being thumped by County. A few players may be fearing for their jobs.....

Yep! It was 5-1 though. Losing to anyone in the same league 5-1, especially at home, is always diabolical.

Another three conceded by Stalybridge.
Not going to plan for calamity James.
