Don't hold your breath, but I can see us getting a win Saturday 2-0 2,879...

Somebody mentioned Telford "sitting pretty in 7th" 7th in the Skrill North is not sitting pretty, admittedly it's prettier than 13th but not much, this is a low level of football and we're going to watch two poor teams. People keep talking like a win would be akin to giant killing.

about time we took a proper hammering again given the state of our defence, and this game will be it, particularly with Gossett gone and Moses not there to shield.
3-0 Telford I fear

There may well end up being one team who is clearly better than the rest but all the other teams in this league are pretty similar. We should be going all out for a win on Saturday, not cautiously being happy with a point.

I like Liam Watson, and I think Telford will be difficult to beat and comfortably beat us on Saturday.
I would love Watson here whilst we are in the Non-League.

I jokingly referred to including the date of the fixture in the title of the thread to make it easier for RB when he is scouring the archives. In all seriousness though, wouldn't it be a good idea so that in future key match threads can be revisited for posterity? If the facility to take a look at a match thread for one of the city games or playoff games existed, would it not make an interesting read once in a while? Not suggesting we are due a return of those glory days any time soon, but it would be a good habit to get into IMO.

Home win - 23/10
Draw - 13/5
Away Win - 11/10
A draw might be a good bet there.

Are they the best odds or just the general odds? 2.3/1 for us to win at home against f*cking Telford. Ridiculous.

1-4 Worth noting, Telford average 1500 fans, we average 2800. Telford went down with an abymsal points total (30 odd I think?) they started this season with an entirely new squad, much like us, yet are sitting pretty in 7th, just outside the playoffs. Just goes to show how utterly clueless Bogie was. Shouldn't be surprised really, I remember Gateshead fans saying how bad he was at making signings. If Lord was in charge the whole season we'd be definitely in the top 10 IMO.
