Nowhere near as meaty as the Ryan McKnight one but just as worthwhile.
Spoke for over an hour to unsung hero and grass cutting expert Liam Cash about his five years as a professional groundsman, encompassing three different spells at County plus two at Premier League clubs, not to mention his earliest County memory, which was actually his earliest memory full stop.
Will try and transcribe it before the weekend and stick it on the CBS site.

Should be a good read that. I briefly worked with Liam at a call centre years back, never expected him to become groundsman at county.
Must be great doing something you enjoy like that though.

He loves it. Having left to come back on two occasions I asked him what his ambition is. It wasn't to work at Wembley or the Bernabeu, it was to be at County as they rise back to the Championship.
I hope he gets that chance.

Gone off him. I tweeted him this afternoon and he hasn't replied.

It is on. He's got to be at EP very early to prepare for it.
I was going to go but I'm not sure I can be arsed.

I'm only going because we are going out for beer and curry after.
