As mentioned in our Newsletter some weeks ago ,run in conjunction with local brewer `Cryptic Ales’ the County Supporters’ Cooperative, are giving County supporters the chance to name their new beer that will be launched at the festival..
As well as having their winning entry officially adorn the new brew the winner will have the opportunity to ceremonially try the first pint pulled at the Beer Festival (5.30pm) on Thursday 2 June. There is also a rumour that Cryptic would also be happy for the winner to “help” them in some of the brewing process.

The Co-op have also linked up with the Festival Charity partner Beacon Counselling,
Beacon Counselling exists to improve the lives of adults, young people, and children who experience mental and emotional distress.
They do this by providing counselling and related services in the borough of Stockport and beyond.
Beacon tackle a wide range of problems from depression, anxiety and stress through to relationships, bereavement and family breakdown. Both Beacon and the Co-op will be selling Raffle tickets on the Thursday night at the Beer Festival for some super prizes including bottles of the Brand new mild Brewed by Cryptic. Profits will be split 50/50 between Beacon and the Co-op with the money raised by the Co-op being used to boost the Co-ops Guardian Account. The Guardian Account aims are to purchase tangible assets which will be used to benefit the Football Club and local Community, and currently stands at over £18.000.
Raffle Tickets are priced at just £1.00 so please be sure you pick yours up and support both organisations
