I must admit I miss the ladder style of response from the old system to various topics (or perhaps I'm not using it correctly?) On a completely different topic I have had two short holidays recently missing the home games with Worcester and then more recently Telford. During the games that I have been able to attend we have been abysmal at best apart from perhaps the Gloucester game. Do any of you fancy chipping in to send me away again ? Should guarantee at least four goals and a County win  |

The number of page views suggests this board is getting a lot more interest than the old one. We've had more in the past four days than marions did in the last two weeks before we announced this one.
I think the best thing though is the amount of users who didn't post on the old board who have got stuck in on here.
As for the team, I saw us at Histon and Rushall and we were appalling in both.

I think that's the good thing with this board - it stops the constant moaners and attention seekers from dominating.

But you do have to scroll through lots of messages rather than being selective when you reply. The edit function for trypo's is good  |

But you do have to scroll through lots of messages rather than being selective when you reply. The edit function for trypo's is good I don't find that a hardship, plus as the Vicar said, the quote function means you can aim you reply direct to the person |

Must be doing something right, I see we have now gone over 400 members!
It's great to be able to keep on topic without losing the thread down the board.
One small issue that's been mentioned elsewhere, namely why can't we have the regular smileys like grin, happy etc. These fancy ones are great but we could do with the regular ones as well IMHO.

Will add some new smileys tonight, fear not. Also working on a 'work safe' grey version so you can get away with covert posting easier at work. Will see if I can add a stricter swear filter to that version too.

A couple of my favourite features with this new board are
- notifications when someone quotes you
- the ability to quote someone easily and directly
- at the bottom of the first page, the recent thread and recent post links let you quickly browse the new content

No, but just in case it flags up somebodies IT team at work. It won't be on this version, just the work safe one. |
