Hatters Half Marathon-2018
The Supporters Co-operative are delighted to confirmed that entries are now open for the 4th Hatters Half marathon, which takes place on Sunday 2nd September. This scenic race starts from Edgeley Park and follows the River Mersey towards Northenden, before forming a loop and returning to the finish in Alexandra Park.
Long term Stockport County sponsors, Parfetts Cash and Carry have agreed to support the race as our Main Sponsor. They will be promoting their Go Local brand, which is the retail division of their company.
We are also joined by Running Bear, who are based in Alderley Edge. They are a leading shop, specialising in shoes, clothing and accessories for runners. Their on-line store can be visited at . Many www.runningbear.co.uk thanks to both companies for your fantastic support.
Entries for this year’s race are £18 for affiliated runners and £20 non-affiliated.
Details of the race and how to enter can be found via www.hattershalf.co.uk
It is really excellent that what is an amazing event with much value to the town and its football club, is once again `ready to rumble'.
Membership.
The Supporters Cooperative have been busy housekeeping , with particular emphasis on the relatively new membership system.
The Supporters Cooperative, as you will be aware, have recently been experiencing problems with part of our membership payment system, namely that element of same channelled through PayPal.
Technical issues meant that some members who had previously used the PayPal method of payment for membership renewal, found that their attempted subscription renewal may have failed.
This has mainly affected members that have been with us prior to 2016 and used to renew by PayPal yearly.
As previously indicated, we have now acted to resolve the issue ,and as a consequence a new PayPal account has been created and linked to the membership system, which we have tested and found to be working satisfactorily.
We urge members therefore to check out their membership details via the link below, and ensure that they are happy that everything with same is up to date.
If they find however that they are still having this problem please advise us via membership@countysupporterscoop.co.uk
Members can log on, check their account status and renew online with PayPal via this link

In addition they also have the option to pay by direct debit, or standing order, and can pay by cash or cheque at the Cheadle End Cabin on home match days between 1.30 and 2.40.
The Cooperative have been examining the existing membership system and assessing whether any additional changes need to be made to same , or whether any initiatives might be usefully undertaken to make membership more attractive to County supporters who may currently not be in membership .
This is currently a work in progress , but this next link will give you an idea as to our thinking and the various options that are being considered.
