Since he signed Jamie has become a pivotal figure at the left side of our central defence and is one of the reasons we were so successful at the end of last season and again since he rejoined late last year.
Today is Jamie’s last game for the club before his loan expires and he returns to Oldham. It will be his 50th game. 16 at the back end of last season and 34 this. So I ask the fans to please give there usual send off to a magnificent player who has rarely put a foot wrong. We all make mistakes but Jamie’s performances has been particularly good and the partnership he has formed at the centre of our defence with Ash has been excellent.
With the extra cash earned again this season with the cup success and the additional attendance money, as well as the extra cash from the increased attendances while we have been top, together with the extra revenue this brings, this money should be used to buy Jamie as our first signing next season which ever division we play in.

What a send off Jamie Stott received. First time scoring the winner and received a guard of honour as he left the pitch at FCUM, then yesterday to the roar of the fans creating Spennymoor’s winning goal against Chorley. Great scripts which he will long remember.
Sincerely hope he will be in our team at the beginning of next season, Jim must ensure that it happens. Every County fan will be delighted to see Jamie here permanently.

Good to see you at the game on Saturday, Jamie. Thank you for your support and encouragement to the team and I am so pleased you were awarded with a medal and achieved two Young Player of the Year awards.
Hope it won’t be too long before we see you back at EP playing for County on a permanent basis.

Jamie looks part of the club and I and every fan would love to see him back with us at EP next season. Please come back again Jamie. Jim will develop you into a first class player.

Will be interesting to see in the next few weeks if Jamie returns on loan or permanently. I know Jim is keen to acquire his services again, but will Oldham’s new manager want him to remain or will Jamie travel elsewhere. We will all know soon.

All County fans expecting Jamie to be back soon, maybe disappointed. It appears that Jamie is doing extremely well at Oldhams Morrocan training camp and played a full 90 minutes in their 0-0 friendly against Mohammedia. Fingers Crossed as you never know.
I think Jim has been holding back from signing someone in case he becomes available.

Jamie had a tough time last night. He was in the Oldham team that played Barrow in the Lancashire Senior Cup.
Barrow equalised at 3-3 in the 85th minute with a shot that deflected off Jamie before ballooning into the net. He scored Oldham’s second penalty in the shoot out but missed at 10-10 to lose the match.
Hope it isn’t going to be too long before he is back with us.

Has been bench warming in the League 2 games but has been called in as sub following two players sent off in the 38th minute at Mansfield today. Out of contract at the end of the season, we should make a good offer to acquire his services before he settles in their team because of their suspensions. A good offer with add ons for appearances and if we sell, should do the trick

A good time to make an approach with a decent offer. I would love Stotty back so would all the fans too. He has made many friends with our players too.
What worries me is, although I would love to see Jamie here permanently, in January he could leave Oldham in the transfer window and join someone like Fleetwood or Accrington. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Wrexham or Fylde. So I hope Jim will find some money out of the FA Cup to get him on board quickly.

County fans can lay to rest that Jamie will ever return as it seems he is building a solid place now in Oldhams first team. We should have made a realistic offer about a month ago in my opinion

Don’t think he would be happy being our 3rd choice centre back

We have enough cover at centre back now, I wouldnt be surprised however to see one or 2 from that released list with us with Jim having good ties with Oldham.
