Did Danny Lloyd, Lewis Montrose, Jimmy Ball and Jason Oswell, move to better themselves. I think not, as none of them have played in a championship winning team since leaving. I am sure they regret not experiencing the moment the new set of lads got us over the line.
Before the current squad listen to offers from higher placed teams, think carefully about your future. Do you want to leave a team on the up for one that may struggle? Remember at EP you play in front of the most passionate fans in the country.

From the rumours it seems like Dux and Matty want away. IMO a very foolish decision if they do. Shows no loyalty to the fans that love them so much, just to become a smaller fish in a bigger pond. Better to play regularly than not at all and have the previous departees really bettered themselves. Jim has replaced with better and will do so again. Our club is on a journey that has just begun and I would want to be part of that ride and enjoy the excitement the future will bring. We have had a small taste of what the future will bring to Stockport County, so let’s enjoy the ride into the future that is looking bright.

Matty didn’t listen to your advice CBF. I think he should have and has been foolish.

After last Sunday’s Parade and the send off Matty received I feel sure he is starting to regret his decision to move on. Better the devil you know and the grass is never greener are true reflections. Matty should have thought how tough Jason has found life in the FL only one goal for Morecambe and Only one goal for Wrexham in the NL. Defenders are much better and soon got a grip with him. Matty should have stayed where he is loved. He now has a lot of hard work to put in to earn the respect and warmth from Northampton fans. Like Jason who knows now he should have stayed at Stockport, Matty could also find the move tough and be unhappy too. Money isn’t everything, you can be happier without it. How many goalscoring forwards have made it since leaving County for a club two divisions higher. They have all regretted it and should have stayed.

I think in time Scott and Darren may wish they had signed a new contract too as exciting times lie ahead at EP.
