SPL have taken the decision to award Celtic the league, but more interestingly they have relegated Hearts - who were only 4 points adrift at the bottom of the league.
Hearts are threatening legal action, I guess this is where it's going to get interesting for leagues who "relegate" teams when ending the season early.
Be interesting to follow that one.

Ann Budge, chairwoman at Hearts, has been given permission to put a plan in place regarding a temporary league restructure on the back of this which could include the league being expanded - so I wouldn’t be surprised if Hearts find a way back in.

There's going to be legal action left, right and centre regardless of the decision made, even if it would have been one to void it too.
It's a shitty but unprecedented situation.

I'm bored of all this stuff about whether Liverpool should get the title, as it's basically sad City or United fans obsessed with it.
I'm more concerned about how they deal with the relegation issue and also the European places issue. As above, I bet the lawyers are all over this and ready for action.
Anyway, am I right in thinking that our league hasn't finalised any promotion/relegation issue just yet? If so, then anyone got an update on when it is likely to be decided?

The National League is waiting on the Football League to decide what it is doing. League Two has agreed to end the season, and has proposed keeping promotion to League One, but scrapping relegation to the National League for this season. League One hasn’t yet made a decision, because six clubs are maintaining that they want to see the season through. So there’s all that to decide. Once they know where the League stand, the National League will then make its own decision.

League Two shouldn’t be able to on its own stop relegation. How can one league decide that? It has a ripple effect all the way down the divisions.

It will all start at the Premier League. If they refuse to relegate teams the domino effect will kick in and Liverpool will be the sole winners.
If however the usual 3 go down i can see it going OK until relegation from League 1. If League 2 want their usual promotions but no relegation (as they have hinted) the League 1 bottom 4 clubs could say "neither are we - you do both or neither".
