I'm not into foreign holidays, and love staying in this country for one reason or another.
Got holidays booked in Scarborough, South Wales and also a break near Morecambe... probably wont be going on any, but not arsed anyway, as I will love a good week of days out in the countryside during a week off work.
Anyway, what are your plans for holidays this year?

Was planning on Ibiza in June then Greece in the Summer - more likely to be Skeggy and Rhyl at this rate (if the Welsh let us in!)

The in-laws have a static caravan at Haven near Porthmadog. The site is expecting to reopen in July with no access to the 'entertainment', sub-standard restaurant or the pool. We have 3 weeks planned in August which I'm looking forward to even more than usual as we'll be able to do the long walks on the beach and walks around Snowdonia without being dragged to the clubhouse.

Was supposed to be going to Copenhagen next month but obviously that's off so we're just hoping to get away somewhere in this country later in the year, we've never been to Cornwall so maybe there if they'll let us in!

I was supposed to be going to Bulgaria next Tuesday but it obviously has been cancelled.
Wizz Air offered me a 120% credit which then needed changing into a refund after but I'd read something advising against taking the credit, as they can dictate how long it takes to refund it (I've seen people saying 2/3 months) and also you're not covered if they go bust. I rang them instead and insisted on a direct refund and after a couple of attempts to persuade me into the credits ("It's the same thing") they said they'd refund it. Within 2 days it was back in my bank account.
I'd recommend anyone who is due a refund to not accept any offer of credit and ring the airline to argue for a straight refund.

Greenacres ?? Black Rock Sands is our go to place in the motorhome. There's nothing better than just driving onto the beach and pitching up. But only in winter mind...then we can stay overnight without the local beach Gestapo coming after us.

Was meant to be going Bilbao for the Euros next month, but that's obviously been canned and delayed until next year.
Got two weeks in Palma booked in September so hoping can still get over there. We're in an Air Bnb villa with our own pool so not even fussed if half the town is still closed down, we can look after ourselves there and don't really need to be seeing too many other people other than at a supermarket.

We've been going for years as the accomodation is free for us, not too far and there are loads of good places to visit around there. Looking forward to it even more now I know I won't be dragged to see the Seaside Squad 😁 I love the beach early in the morning or in the late summer evenings. I'm hoping it will be quieter without all of the facilities, but I suspect that the lack of holidays abroad will see it being as busy as ever.

Speaking as a travel agent re:refunds etc.
For flight bookings, Airlines have to give your money back under IATA regulations if they cancel your flight - most of them are only offering credit notes initially, but if you push it, you’ll get a cash refund, it just might take a while.
If they are still operating your flight, you have no automatic right to a refund if you don’t want to travel, but may be able to claim through travel insurance if the FCO is advising against travel.
For package holidays, most tour operators are offering ‘refund credit notes’ - these are essentially vouchers that can be exchanged for cash at a named future date. Essentially, this buys the tour operator time to get money back from their suppliers before refunding clients, and hopefully means they won’t go bust in the meantime.
For hotel only bookings, you are basically at the goodwill of the supplier - most are allowing rebooking, even for non refundable rates.
