That doesn't really mean anything. I will only talk generally here, rather than about that specific application, but the deadline is really just the date at the end of the statutory application process. Usually that will be 8 or 13 weeks, depending on the proposed development, which is the time by which a decision is expected to be made. That date can be extended if the applicant and local planning authority (LPA) agree to do so and that's a pretty standard occurrence. However, even if no extension is agreed there is no obligation to make a decision by that date - it just goes down against the LPA's figures as an application not determined within the time period. Thanks Mozzer. I know nothing about planning applications. I just saw that date and was hopeful that we may hear something by then. Sounds like that's not likely.
