I know I am late to the game, but Chernobyl - bloody hell!! Yeah, magnificent stuff. I've watched it twice now and it still horrifies me. Paul Ritter plays the absolute b*stard part very well. I think it is mentioned in the programme but something as simple as the wind blowing the other way would have seen most of Europe affected. Doing a little research afterwards I read that the highest parts of Wales and Scotland were mildly affected by radiation. Scary stuff. More than mildly to be fair, parts of Cumbria too, they were still having to test sheep for radiation before releasing the meat for consumption for 20 odd years afterwards

It was an event which pretty much passed me by as I was 7 when it happened, although I do remember seeing it on the news.

Anyone watching Vigil on BBC. Seen the first 2 episodes and it was getting a bit daft. Is it worth finishing? Watched a bit of Ladhood last night and that seemed like it might be ok - anyone seen it? Cheers.

Cheers. We’ve stuck with it and are enjoying it so far. I finished Superstore this week that has been a decent tv comedy filler for those spare 20mins. Seen today that season 3 of Succession is back Mid October in the UK. Can’t wait for that.

Very different but Sex Education back for S3 on Friday too.

If it went on for a few more series and continued to be written and played so well it could be my favourite ever.

Agree, it's phenomenal. The Sopranos is way out on its own for me, but this is the only thing I've ever watched that has the potential to get near it. If they don't drag it out for 10 seasons and keep to the standard, it'll be right up there.
