”Raab says the inquiry dismissed all but two of the claims against him” So he’s only a bit of a bully. Like being a bit of a wife-beater or a bit of a rapist. He has gone. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Sunak doesn’t help himself by appointing the likes of Raab and Braverman - but I suppose political expediency demands it.
And doubt he'll return. Very much someone a Johnson era joker appointed for loyalty to the cause, rather than any sort of political talent.

Someone tried to bully you! Joking aside it is despicable. Raab, of course, gets to resign, rather than be sacked stating that the investigation was flawed. He'll soon be back bullying in another highly paid job. I've always been quite lucky and worked for some really good organisations with mostly good people but in one of my last agency jobs a pretty horrible woman had everyone in her office one by one and some were coming out in tears, she called me in and before she even spoke I told her I was handing in my notice, it took the wind out of her sails, I also told her that I'd be writing a detailed email to the senior manager which I did as soon as I left the office. Lol. Quite right too. Don't mess with the clergy.

Think he'll probably lose his seat at the next election too, although undoubtably he'll end up in the House of Lords like all failed MPs do.

Raab gone, some people make light of bullying but it can make people's lives a misery, I've only come up against it once and I was in a good position so I could just tell the bully in question I didn't need the job and as it was agency I just needed to give one week notice, anyone with a mortgage and kids who needs the job probably goes through hell. Agree entirely. I wasn't so lucky, my bully arrived in a woman's body when I was a Junior employee in an Insurance Broker's (the first of only two jobs I've ever had) and she garnered plenty of respect from people. Unfortunately she really took a dislike to me (for no reason I could ever fathom) and made my life a misery for about 2 years until I left. I pretty much went from 'Director of Good Morale' to withdrawn and pretty much broken during her time. She died about six or seven years ago. Cancer. Only in her late 40s if I recall correctly. I couldn't find anything good to say about her at the time and she therefore had the last laugh when I got a bollocking for ill-advisedly saying what I felt at the time. One of the things in life, looking back, that I regret if I'm honest. But I've always lacked class and combined with that I'm a very bitter swine.

That's 3 gone from Sunak's cabinet already, Williamson, Zahawi and Raab, they're still a shambles.

Not sure that's a bad thing really. Raab and Williamson had no place being anywhere near cabinet anyway - they'd have been lobby fodder back benchers in any other era beyond those weird few years post-Brexit where loyalty to the cause was the only thing that mattered.
Zahawi is the only one with any sort of political talent who counts as a loss in that sense, but when someone's too corrupt for even the modern Tory party, you know it must be bad.

Spent my last 24 years in a large global business as European Sales Lead for a retail channel (Looking after all of the “sheds” etc).About 5 years before I retired we had a new CFO, instantly disliked by nearly everyone in the business and for some reason we really didn’t get on. He took it upon himself to try to manage my channel to the extent that he suggested I do deals with retailers where we “offered a special price in return for an agreed retail price and we share (!) the profit”. Absolutely against all legislation on price setting and didn’t like it one bit when I told him where to go with it. From that point on my time with the company was limited whilst he was around, luckily he eventually got “moved on” and I was able to retire in my own time but he is now in a similarly senior role with Motorola in Asia. A real example of someone moving roles before being found out. No doubt very competent at number crunching but totally lacking in understanding the market he was in.

It's definitely a good thing. The question should be why were these people in positions of power in the first place. Surely questions must be asked about Sunak's judgement.

It’s now become a disability discrimination thing, with people like Matthew Parris saying he’s probably just a bit autistic. gov.uk says there is grounds for not giving someone a job on the basis of their disability if it means they can’t “carry out a task that is an essential part of the work”. I’d say if you can’t lead your people without bullying them (even if it’s apparently only some of the time), then you can’t carry out a task that is an essential part of the work.

For using a sledgehammer to deal with a complex issue. I can’t blame them for coming down on her Weird to have a sort of reverse “all lives matter” moment in a letter to a newspaper AIUI, not mis-speaking in an interview or sending an un-thought-through tweet. that’s the key thing about it for me. You could politically just about get away with not thinking clearly in an interview and accidentally saying something stupid. actively going out of your way to make this point in a letter to a friendly newspaper is another level entirely, and I can’t see how she can come back from it.
