Assume so, doubt most at our level could afford to start without the gate receipts. They could stream games PPV but income would be down significantly...perhaps the greedy league could filter some money down but it's hardly likely. I must admit to having watched some of the greedy league as its just about better than no football at all - can't wait to watch a real game again.

I’m sure I read somewhere that the season needed to be finished by mid May. It’s going to be a tight squeeze to fit everything in. I wonder if they’ll end up scrapping the FA trophy and perhaps the early rounds of the FA Cup.

According to Boris, so that would be our season start? Been announced 35% capacity for none league So 3784 for us Would it be 35% of total capacity though or 35% of usable capacity, as we don’t use the Railway end it would mean 35% into a smaller/denser area....

Boris also announced that he wanted to scrap social distancing by November.
What this is based on I have no idea, but assume that would mean we could be back at full capacity after a few games.

Big part of that statement for me. Good to see the government recognising that the majority don't have huge reserves of cash.
"I recognise that not every sport, team or club has the benefit of huge commercial revenue, and it is often their dedicated fans that are the lifeblood which helps keep them going. By working closely with sports and medical experts, these pilots will help ensure the safe return of fans to stadiums.
"Although it will remain some time before venues are full to capacity, this is a major step in the right direction for the resumption of live spectator sport across the country."

The clarity and consistency of messaging from the very top of govt has been woefully inadequate throughout this crisis. Other organisations below that level, understandably, merely compound the problem.
I would hope the whole Railway end is available in any calculation: after all, for 35% they'd only need to find something like 400 that are still usable. They surely can't ALL be knackered! Even installing 400 new ones, which could then be reused in a new stand, might be an option...

According to Boris, so that would be our season start? My opinion, season starts in September. If they're looking to finish by the usual end of April/beginning of May time then starting any later than September would mean two games a week for most of the season and there's the FA Trophy/FA Cup to consider... 8.0.2
