Signs
County confirm the signing of left wing-back Mark Kitching from Hartlepool Utd on a three-year deal.
24 year-old Kitching joins The Hatters after turning down a new deal at Victoria Park, having spent two years with Hartlepool.

It looks like we are throwing everything including the Kitching sink at it this year...

Good signing. I’d assume this means James Jennings has signed as back-up?

Good signing. I’d assume this means James Jennings has signed as back-up? Seems that way, although looking at comments from Wrexham and Hartlepool fans they seem to be two very different players. Seems like Kitching likes to get forward a lot but isn't the best defensively while James Jennings is a bit more solid but not so good at going forward these days. If i was a betting man, I'd say we plan to play Connor Jennings wide left with Kitching overlapping for the most part but perhaps bring James Jennings in when we have a left footed winger on the left.

Great to have options isn’t it? Our left side has been poor for a while.

I'm also not sure Jim goes for the idea of a "backup", more just having different options. Kitching being described as a wing back makes me think he's more likely to be on the left side of a 5 while Jennings would be on the left side of a 4. It's great to have two good looking players for the number 3 position though, given the nightmare we had with it last year.

Just watching the Jim interview. He talks about going with 3 at the back on occasions next season
So it sounds like Connor Jennings coming in from the left.
Kitching and Mark Jennings different options at left back / left wing back
Also likely to join is a left sided centre back, a number 10 and maybe further midfield options!
