Yeovil v Barnet today
Last night saw Boreham Wood come from behind to beat Halifax, Big Matt Rhead© getting the winner. Happy at that 'cos The Shay is a great away day.
Would prefer it if whoever wins today's game goes up in the end, at least they're clubs with a Football League history; Harrogate or Boreham Wood would just feel wrong, Harrogate's just a plaything for the chairman and his son & the BW whinges about fans not turning up. Not sure if their grounds even meet the membership criteria. Otherwise I'd probably prefer Notts to go up - they've got a bit of investment behind them and would otherwise be title challengers next season.

I don’t want Barnet to go up, I accept that’s because I’m bitter. I’m not overly keen on Borehamwood so don’t really want them to either.
Of the others I don’t really care. I guess Notts would be expected to be up there again next season so them going would take out a rival.

Yeovil removes a potential rival and removes an awful away trip to a dreary town.

Dreadful dirge of a first half in today’s game. Only came to life when Barnet scored and Yeovil realised they had to do something about it. Couple off the line, few goalmouth scrambles and a couple off the post but Barnet clung on long enough to get a second on the counter. There was a handball that would have seen VAR rule out Barnet’s second but tbh if looked like it was going to be one of those days for Yeovil anyway.
Felt a bit like how watching County does sometimes. Lots of possession, a few golden opportunities but a lack of luck and composure in front of goal meant Yeovil couldn’t get the goal they should have done.

Odd isnt it in football? A team that either just scrapes into,or gets in by default to a competition seems to do well.Good job Barnets two games are away as they probably would have been postponed! Bitter.Moi?

Get rid of Notts County for me, gives us the clearest run at the title, these small non entities like Boreham wood and Harrogate may be most affected by Covid and struggle to maintain or justify the same level of investment to be as competitive next year, we need to get out of this division in next couple of years, this is the hardest division to get out of, the rest we can accept being in league 2 cos its back in the league but that i imagine would be a lot easier to get out of than this one with 4 places up for grabs

It’s the NLN play offs also...Altrincham or Chester for me.
I also agree about getting rid of Notts County too.

Alty or Chester would be great, but if there's any fairness in the world it'll be York, biggest losers from PPG.
Ultimately I'll be glad of anyone but Brackley

Both Alty and Darts currently winning 2-0 Got those two plus Gateshead and Dorking on a potentially very profitable Acca. Alty are now 3-0 ahead and Chester down to 10 men.
