It appears you can do what the f*ck you want. The Cops are toothless tigers. You have the most useless government since politics began and you're all about to be driven of a cliff in a bus with a Russian dictator at the wheel? And they told you Jeremy was a treat to National security?? FFS. I despair. Good luck with what you've got coming. Enough (maybe not on this board) swallowed the shit the Tory press and the BBC sold you.
The rules in Spain are much clearer. We know were we stand. There is very little confusion. Wear your mask in all public areas or cop a 100 quid fine. You tend not to argue with cops with guns. We've a beautiful apartment for sale if you want to jump ship. Best thing we ever did leaving that madhouse behind. We'll die in Spain. Not too soon hopefully. We've got to grow old disgracefully first. Viva España anyone? colespain.com/Property.aspx?ref_no=VER2A46If i had the money malc i'd snatch your hand off! Absolutely beautiful! sat out on the patio with a cold beer and a slice of tortilla.......can only dream!

Its the arrogant attitude of some people who will not wear a mask - they do not seem to realise that its to protect your fellow man. You may be invincible but may still be a carrier with no obvious symptoms BUT you could infect other people with your attitude. Grow up and wear the mask for gods sake. its not being arrogant by any means. if mask wearing was seen as the thing to combat the virus from day 1 then it would seen to be fine. its not as if all the mask wearers will be wearing one anyway thats fit for the purpose. even health professionals are not all behind the need of wearing them. again how can not wearing one affect anyone where a shop has a one in one out policy. how is it that you cannot seem to infect anyone in a pub or cafe or a sweaty gym but you,ll decimate the population by paying for fuel or going into a corner shop.

that argument doesn’t really hold.
On day 1, we didn’t know that being overweight was a massive risk factor. We now do.
If an overweight person were to declare ‘I’m not going to try to lose weight because the government have changed the advice’ you wouldn’t think ‘brave soldier’, you’d think ‘fat nobhead’ and that’s advice that is only going to harm them personally, not the rest of the public.
There’s also the side issue of the massive worldwide shortage of hospital grade masks in the early stage of the pandemic. Having the general public using those masks at that stage would have been a huge waste of resources.

I don't think it's arrogant, it's self-centred and unintelligent, it seems to be people who are conditioned to think any instruction equals too much nanny state.

Wearing a mask round Tesco isn't a challenge to personal liberty, it's common courtesy to the other people in the shop

Why try and pick hypothetical arguments about it? The guidance is quite simple. Indoors, wear a mask. Just do it and everyone can get in quietly.
