Have the rules of people going into each others houses been forgotten now? Or are there still limits on who should be coming and going into each others houses? Do we still have to create bubbles of who we choose to mix with?
It all seems to have gone quiet recently on the guidelines. Is this because we can all basically carry on as normal now?

You're only supposed to mix with one other household at a time still I think? Even in pubs and restaurants. And try and stay apart etc etc.
Unless you need an eye test at a castle on your wife's birthday. Or something.

Confused. First thing this morning filled up at fuel station walked in unaware you had to wear a mask, lady behind counter as I walked in advised me to wear on, said its my choice but police can fine you on the spot if they see you. Drove past a pub on way home, group of about 10 people sat round a beer table no facemasks. Went in Morrisons a few hours ago with my mask on, girls on checkouts not wearing them then keep turning round to each other on their chairs chatting, less than 2 meters apart

Everything has gone out the window now hasn’t it?
Daily cases on the slight rise last few days. Nobody from government even addresses it anymore.
Do whatever you want, the blame will be put on the people

I feel like taking a wire brush to my eyeballs with the behaviour of some people.
There’s Facebook post after Facebook post from some about the affects COVID is having on them yet they’ve not followed any of the recommendations throughout. Constantly in big groups of ‘friends’ and round other people’s houses etc.
Then there’s the ones still on furlough that are saying they’re unsure on if they feel safe enough to go back to work.. Yet St Anne’s beach during the heatwave was perfectly fine.
Rant over. I’m heading to the fridge for another beer.

Cross your fingers and hope for the best i think.
I'm going for my first pub pint since March tomorrow, we looked at booking a table at remedy but apparently it kight not be necessary so I guess we'll just see what happens.

I think a lot of the rules ultimately boil down to ‘don’t be a dick’.
I find it surprising that some of those, generally on the right of the political spectrum, who carp about millennials being soft, privileged snowflakes tend to be losing their collective minds over having to wear a face mask, such a slight on one’s liberties as it is; while the millennials are getting on with it.
And when I say I find it surprising, I mean in the same way I find it surprising that fire is hot and night follows day.

Will happily wear a mask all the time when I'm out, just had no idea it all came in to force today.

It appears you can do what the f*ck you want. The Cops are toothless tigers. You have the most useless government since politics began and you're all about to be driven of a cliff in a bus with a Russian dictator at the wheel? And they told you Jeremy was a treat to National security?? FFS. I despair. Good luck with what you've got coming. Enough (maybe not on this board) swallowed the shit the Tory press and the BBC sold you.
The rules in Spain are much clearer. We know were we stand. There is very little confusion. Wear your mask in all public areas or cop a 100 quid fine. You tend not to argue with cops with guns. We've a beautiful apartment for sale if you want to jump ship. Best thing we ever did leaving that madhouse behind. We'll die in Spain. Not too soon hopefully. We've got to grow old disgracefully first. Viva España anyone? colespain.com/Property.aspx?ref_no=VER2A46

I know of an NHS worker who was stomping her feet at the government response, asking the perfectly reasonable question of why people thought clapping of a Thursday was enough, and what happened to protecting the nhs... First weekend of pubs opening she's there in a picture out on the lash, cuddled up with 10+ mates at a tiny table in a bar. Dim as. I'm in full self isolation for surgery purposes for three more weeks after this... I may well be a loon once I can go outside again.

The rules in Spain are much clearer. We know were we stand. There is very little confusion. its the same though in this country. its more about people being wound up by anomolies in things . its written in black and white what you can or cannot do.for getting petrol, what does annoy us non mask wearers is having to wear one in a corner shop where they have a one in one out policy. that is so different than going into a large supermarket. as for getting fuel, why cannot they just open an outside pay point like they used to do or do so at night for security. saves a lot of ill feeling both ways.

The rules really aren’t that complicated.
If you are out in public and indoors, wear a mask, unless you are eating or drinking.
That does leave loopholes, but frankly, if you’re the kind of person who prioritises being able to exploit a loophole over public health, you’re a w*nker.

Its the arrogant attitude of some people who will not wear a mask - they do not seem to realise that its to protect your fellow man. You may be invincible but may still be a carrier with no obvious symptoms BUT you could infect other people with your attitude. Grow up and wear the mask for gods sake.
