If this Chinese thing falls through then I see the Co Op as very much a plan B. WOW! Serious? How many more "plan A's" have to fail? The Co-Op is not an option, it is a must!

We all know of a sporting entrepreneur who has a big pot of gold. It's not the size of the pot that matters it is what you do with it. Spot on with that IMO, you can have as many options as you want chose the wrong and its goodnight........oh sorry we already done that......

That's what I've been dreading, Chinese flags, banners etc. It wouldn't surprise me if I saw a Chinese dragon walking up and down the front of the Cheadle End all game with 'Please buy us you lot' written in Mandarin.
Let's just turn up, get behind the team and hope for a win. If they're interested they'll put money in regardless of what we do.

In typical British style though any mandarin on any banners would probably say something along the lines of "please sprinkle us with love bananas".

Co-Op is a last resort IMO. I'm not against it at all, in fact I think it's a good idea to have a fan's group on the board but I'd rather have owners with a bit of clout who can take us forward than a group of fans with good intentions and nothing more.

Serious question, at what stage is a "last resort" decided? The Co-Op are NOT intending to take over the club. The Co-Op is needed even if wealthy owners come on-board.

Probably when there are absolutely no investors on the horizon. Like I said, I agree that having a fans group represented on the board is a good idea but I would expect that if the end was nigh, the Co-Op would still give it one last shot at running things.

I might decide to lift my self imposed exile for Saturday, if I can remember my way to EP.

We could tell them we've setup the new Yellowboard in their honour.

I'd like to propose a banner with this on to welcome them. Any volunteers to knock one up? I don't like it, but I'd have to go along with it.
