Reminiscing with mates tonight about the terrible players of recent times (Hi, Kenan Dünnwald-Turan) and we can't remember the name of the midfielder we signed who mysteriously disappeared early into one season, supposedly owing to gun/gang/drug related crimes he was done for. Chris something?

Definitely wasn't thinking of Chris Byrne, so no idea why I thought it was a Chris! Perhaps I was thinking Chris Churchman, but he wasn't a gangster as far as I recall.

The latest episode of the I Had Trials Once podcast is with ex-County player, Darren Green.
Interesting story about Proudlock taking a dump in Gannon's kettle.

I remember seeing his shirt in the Co-op hut once, would have been from back end of 08/09. Had no idea who he was, think he only ever made the bench for us. Regret not buying it. Same as Ben Chu Say's 12/13 home shirt. Was £10 in the Co-op hut. Haunts me to this day.

Noticed Millenic Alli scored for Exeter against our friend Pugwash’s lot last night. Surprised in equal parts that he's beaten us to L1 and we moved him on so quickly - but maybe that was his decision for gametime? Looked a prospect in the County games I saw and that "x-factor" player who can make a goal out of nowhere that every team needs. But raw, inconsistent with his end product as you'd expect eith someone relatively early in his senior football development despite being 23 (when playing for us).
