Would Torquay count as a real test? On another day we’re 3 or 4-0 up in that one before they even think about scoring. Halifax fair enough. Torquay will be up there at the end.

Chesterfield may have won big today but the consensus on their messageboard is that they would have been lucky to win at all, and to say that the result was a freak one would be putting it mildly know hartlepools fans thought they were garbage with everything revolved round tom denton as usual. think there are far better teams than them where for me they are like us pre jim. a big name and nothing else. Funnily enough that’s exactly what the Chesterfield forum is saying - overreliance on hoofing it up to Denton who can’t run

Oh no, not Denton again?! He was pretty poor last time I remember him coming to EP, but he still scored.
How do Solihull manage to have a decent team every season? Must be well-managed and/or bankrolled.

Wasn’t very impressed with Wealdstone yesterday on TV so they shouldn’t cause us too many problems.
I’m going for a 3-1 win, Rooney, Bennett and Reid.
I’m off work Tuesday so I’ll be watching....

They looked poor, but the fact that we have to travel to our fourth game in a fortnight and the fact that it will only be their third might lessen the gap slightly. There will be no easy games this season.

How do Solihull manage to have a decent team every season? Must be well-managed and/or bankrolled. bankrolled on top of getting plenty of cash for hire of their car park for a local factory. does help as well being the premier non league side in the west midlands without any real problem of similar clubs pinching your players.

Solihull. The very name reeks of suburban dreariness. The entire town could probably be replaced by a carpark, and nobody would notice.

Long trip and tired legs. I would give Bell, Thomas, J Jennings and Croasdale a start to freshen things up. Having a proper squad is going to really help us this time with so many games in a shortened season. They’ll be even more matches to fit in as more teams call games off for the Covid. Im all for a bit of rotation if we can. I’m going for a 2-1 county win.

2-0 County Thomas and Rooney, 2 x Bennett assists. Fans 10 - peering through the curtains of the clubhouse where they are watching the stream.
