Anyone have any idea if we will be allowed to stream FA cup games? Good question and one to which I don’t know the answer mate. Will be good to know.

I'm guessing that BT will be airing one live and then home teams will have to use their own streaming platform with receipts split 50/50 between teams. Completely guessing here but that would be in-line with normal protocol 👍

Completely guessing here but that would be in-line with normal protocol 👍 It’s BBC who do a qualifying game every round. Wouldn’t surprise me if we were the back-up option if another game went down late because of Covid.

If we were allowed in,ALL spectators would have to pay, even ST holders,so I would imagine there will be no free streaming. As you say any revenue would be the usual. One third to home team, one third to away and one third to the FA

BT still have the FA Cup rights for another season and as they televised a match in the Qualifying round last season (York against Us) I imagine they may take up that option again. I think the BBC could show earlier qualifying rounds at BT's discretion. Next season the BBC & ITV have acquired full TV rights to the cup until 2025 😁

I thought it was 45/45/10 between home/away/FA in the earlier rounds, then 40/40/20 later on

May have once been that but I was looking at this season's rules. Split 50/50, and then the FA take a third from the semi-final receipts and 90% at the final. There's an extra clause 22(b)(iii) saying that if a non-league team plays a league club in the 3rd round or later it's a 55/45 split in the non-league club's favour.

You'd be daft to bet against Jim having us even better prepared for the follow up game. Keeping Denton quiet and not giving away set pieces is key.

I expect at least a handful of changes for us and wouldn't bet against the same for Chesterfield.
They've got a long trip down to Wealdstone on Tuesday too so we get another couple of days rest as well as a full weeks preparation for the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just 2 or 3 with the week's rest. Jim has said in the past how important a good cup run and keeping momentum can be - like the Trophy in our NLN winning season.
Maybe JJ and MSH in, given the amount of work our wingbacks do, but Kitching and Minihan were arguably our two best players today. I wouldn't be surprised to see Reid in for Jennings and possibly Croasdale in for Keane too?
I'd like to see Williams, Gilmour and Bell get some minutes too, but I suspect they would be options from the bench given their lack of match fitness - less so for Bell, but Bennett is the key link-up man for us.
EDIT - I forgot Thomas! He definitely deserves some serious gametime too. Basically I don't know. Good problems to have though!
