Might be wrong but I think it was simply a red for the challenge not arguing with the ref as the commentators & some are suggesting. He wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary with regards to speaking to the ref.
The challenge was still stupid however.

Has Hogan managed to get booked AND given a straight red? Looked to me like the booking was Maynard but that would have been odd Not really, he went to nut the ref! |

What’s embarrassing is all the toys out of the pram stuff blaming the manager who’s hardly got his feet under the table. Sam at left back, come on.... Jim’s played him there before and Kitching did go off injured though I would have gone with Stott. |

He’s gone for the ball, can’t be a red. Missed the ball and cleaned out the player. Debate is whether it’s denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity. Ref thought it was. That’s not the rule. If he’s attempted to get the ball, which he has then it should be a yellow. It’s poor refereeing after admittedly a poor decision to dive in. |

Didn’t he play him as a left centreback in a back three because we had numerous players injured? I don’t recall him ever playing there again after that match. Don’t understand why Stott didn’t come on. |

There’s a few on here that are still fuming with the decision to sack a club legend for ‘culture’ reasons, to be told to get on with it and shut up by the arse lickers cause we dispatched a dreadful Woking side - any surprise they are pointing out the obvious culture issues when our discipline goes out the window the first moment we are up against it. |
