Stott will pull out soon and we’ll be the new Bury. Oh my days. This season had so much promise. Pinpoint a day when it all went wrong… Sacking Jim Gannon. Why would you think that and even more, print it on here? What a weak, negative attitude. There's absolutely no reason to think Stott would pull out- look at all the work he has done on the infrastructure at the club and ground and training facilities. They've f*cked up getting Rusk in and where I'd be more worried is that if Rusk goes, why would any of us be confident that Wilson would get the next appointment right? As far as i can tell,he doesn't have much experience and pedigree at our level or in choosing staff. His previous jobs have mainly been more on the organisational side, not the 'grass roots' of the playing side.

Exactly my thoughts. Mr Stott has some very serious decisions to make and I hope that he gets help from the right people/person.

That’s the problem though, isn’t it…The very person who should be the subject of the biggest decision, is the one who has Stott’s ear. If Rusk is sacked, an admission of failure on Wilson’s part should be forthcoming. But I don’t see that happening, let alone his dismissal.

It does though mean that if a new manager comes in and marks his territory Wilson will be relegated to a bit part of this project. Losing rusk and appointing a proper manager severely weakens Wilson's position, old school managers won't accept his any interference.

That’s not how it works with directors of football though is it. The vast majority don’t leave if a manager goes. They’re supposed to be the constant within the football side of the business. I think In the videos he’s held his hands up at times when stuff hasn’t gone right - especially this last one. So sure if the time comes for Rusk to depart, he’ll admit it hasn’t worked out.

Really doubt we would appoint an old school manager as i can see a rusk mark 2 arriving. Think wilson has too much power in the club anyway and mark stott may be a successful business man but that does not mean he will be in the football industry. These have been many similar people in the past who have made many mistakes in football but still keep on coining it outside the game. Far to much heart first head second in the sport which never helps.

Some of his signings have been impressive but I am surprised he allowed us to go into the season with just three fit strikers. Reid, Madden and Quigley. It would have been ok if they all remain fit.
I am surprised with all his contacts that he hasn’t brought in another recognised front man with a goalscoring reputation.
I cannot comment on KDT, who although has a poor goalscoring record looks impressive from the recently posted video. That showed he has some pace and looks more of a winger than a striker.
I truly hope he can find a recognised no 9 to help us find a winning formula, if KDT isn’t the answer.
Good teams find a way to be successful!. Will tonight be the start?

I have to question Wilson and how prepared he had us going into the season? Looking at our goalscoring prowess Wilson is now scrambling round 6 games in for a proven goalscorer. Although nobody could foresee the Quigley injury i distinctly remember him saying we need adequate back up in every position. Then the situation with Kitching meant he actually started the season without a recognised left back. Thankfully he scrambled a freebie in Zeki Fryers but considering promotionnis the aim the whole preparation to the season by Wilson has probably not helped Rusk.

Bringing this back to the top. Rusk will be the fall guy, but Wilson is at fault for bringing in big-time, weak, spineless, expensive players who are untouchable because of their long contracts. The best players at the club are the ones Jim signed years ago for nothing.

In reality it's Stott who is at fault by appointing Wilson. But as they are joined at the hip, I reckon they both stay or go together.
