I've thought about it. But I can't, I just can't. I can't bring myself to watch it. I'd rather replace my bog roll with barbed wire. managed a mighty 5 seconds before i turned it off. any longer than that i have a feeling the lap top would have gone out of the window.

Jim Gannon isn’t daft. He’ll have seen all this coming from a mile off. On one hand, I wish he’d gone right at the start and not got involved with these lot. But an even bigger part of me is glad he waited it out. I hope he took them for as much as he could in the payoff. honestly i wish jim had just walked. he might have lost shedloads of money but at least we may have known what and how big a shit show we as fans are involved in. then we could make our minds up whether we attend and renue our ST again. think there will be a few next season if fans can attend home and away will swerve EP but watch us away.

Whoever this guy is on the video, his face perfectly sums up my feelings listening to Wilson drone on.

Listening to that I’m 100% convinced Jim wouldn’t have been able to work with Wilson, they just don’t seem to compatible. Add into the mix niggles with players , the outcome seems inevitable. The dichotomy is without Stott’s money we would likely remain non league for a very long time, but have Jim, With Stott’s investment comes a different approach ie a DoF. I’m really not convinced of what Wilson brings to the table but I’ll see where we are in next couple lot seasons. Jim's a clever man with an inbuilt bullshit detector, Wilson wouldn't be comfortable with that. Ha, ha, as true as this is, I thought this was another Parklife/Tartlife lyric! 🤣

That interview where he's talking about Jim being replaced and answering Jon Keighran's 'daunting, awkward' questions!! , he's rubbing his arm a lot. The real crux of the matter: is that itching or scratching? Or is it just the same as asking the difference between McKnight and Wilson!

Stockport is not part of the prozone training world!

I don’t think anyone was taken in by McKnight were they? One of his (many) problems was that he was so full of himself that he couldn’t avoid the spotlight and every time he opened his mouth he just confirmed how full of shit he was.
Sadly, he still dines out on being CEO here and uses it as some sort of validation of his football business credentials. What did he actually do? Sack a very capable manager, appoint a European coach with little English and no knowledge of the league we were in, signed a load of players and picked the team. Result? Relegation to the ignominy of regional, part time football. He should be bloody embarrassed about his time at our club and the damage he did to it.
I so wish Big Martin had gone along to the business breakfast McKnight was speaking at. Now that would have been funny and at least some pay back for what the Cnut did to our club.

I hate to admit it, but I was taken in by it right at the beginning, all the metaphors about dressing for the job you want not the job you have and that all seemed appealing in the face of otherwise terrible news. Which is perhaps why I seem to be repelled more than most by what’s going on now?

Not much to my credit, as I generally pride myself on being reasonably polite. But in the car park outside Hartlepool prior to the Gateshead game he started to wander across. By this time I was bloody incandescent with what had transpired and just blanked him and made sure he knew it. Better that than getting in what would have been an unseemly row.

This is obviously conjecture, but if anything like this turned out to be true, I’d have no qualms with calling for Stott to walk away, whatever the cost. Not sure McKnight will have had any official role, but you can bet he’ll have been dripping the poison with that Wilson. Jim Gannon isn’t daft. He’ll have seen all this coming from a mile off. On one hand, I wish he’d gone right at the start and not got involved with these lot. But an even bigger part of me is glad he waited it out. I hope he took them for as much as he could in the payoff. I get why they gave JG the boot. I don’t agree with it, but understand Wilson’s motivation to have a yes man in the position so he can fool the roost and not have to worry about being picked up on his bullshitting. The briefing against Jim started a while before the departure. We even saw it on here. Then there was this mythical incident on the bus after Daggers away. Suitably vague, but sneakily and snidely giving people to believe that JG has done something seriously wrong. And it has been briefed out. Sad way to treat a club legend, but this lot have their plans and woe betide anyone who gets in the way. backed by the useful fools .... ‘JG must have done something seriously wrong to get the sack so suddenly.’ Pffft! Speaking of useful idiots... If Wilson is the malign influence he seems to be, then Stott could fit that mould. He's the rich man whose money Wilson is spending willy-nilly on his Football Manager project.

Stott has done a lot of good things since taking over and just ignoring that does him a disservice. I agree with criticism of Wilson but it doesn't have to be an overall condemnation of the owner. He may well have made an error with appointing this DOF,but calling him a malign influence too is harsh.

I don't have it in for Stott at all, but if it is Wilson that is the problem (and appreciate we're not au fait with the day-to-day), then it's Stott who ends up out of pocket, because he's the one who's financing the project. So Wilson is onto a winner, because it's not his money he's spending. And from Stott's point of view, if his appointees make a mess of things, it will be him who has to pick up the pieces after.
