You seem to have it in for Stott too,which i think is unfair. Stott has done a lot of good things since taking over and just ignoring that does him a disservice. I agree with criticism of Wilson but it doesn't have to be an overall condemnation of the owner. He may well have made an error with appointing this DOF,but calling him a malign influence too is harsh. That's my point though, to be clear. I don't have it in for Stott at all, but if it is Wilson that is the problem (and appreciate we're not au fait with the day-to-day), then it's Stott who ends up out of pocket, because he's the one who's financing the project. So Wilson is onto a winner, because it's not his money he's spending. And from Stott's point of view, if his appointees make a mess of things, it will be him who has to pick up the pieces after. Totally agree. Itchy has a track record of not sticking around very long. Ultimately it is Scratchy that will pay if it doesn’t work out the way they envision it. |

Speaking of useful idiots... If Wilson is the malign influence he seems to be, then Stott could fit that mould. He's the rich man whose money Wilson is spending willy-nilly on his Football Manager project. You seem to have it in for Stott too,which i think is unfair. What's apparent over the last 20 years or so is that, and I'm not saying there's a swindle going on here, but if someone did want to swindle us all they need to do is wear a suit, speak well, and throw a small sum of money around to local causes and they'll have a significant percentage of County fans eating out of their hands like cattle en-route to the slaughter house. |

Not at all. If you'd seen my posts generally I've criticised the club over Jim's sacking and also the Director of football who I don't rate at all so far. But unlike you I'm not ignoring all the decent things the owner has done so far and won't condemn him like you seem to have. You need a more balanced view.

But I haven't actually ignored the decent things he's done. I think your anger at what I've said is skewing your memory. You could look back and I'm pretty sure find some compliments from me. I think at one point I even reined it in about his Politics. Big thing that for me given that my start point for all Tories is that they're psychopaths. I was cautious when he arrived. That's my nature. Mainly because we've been f*ckED by men wearing smart suits before. Remember Brian Kennedy. Tony Evans? You need to accept that people might have a different view on this chap's balanced scorecard than you currently have. That may well change. You'll find I'm big enough to admit when I'm wrong. Jury's out for me right now though. |
