Nyal seems to have all the attributes and I was desperate for him to make it at EP. If that's not going to happen I wish him all the success in the world wherever he goes.

He's easily as talented as Tom Elliott, whose had a good football league career. If nyall showed consistency then he would have been sold for a huge profit. Imho it's last chance saloon at alty to prove he's better than a conference player. I don't want to sound critical of him as I liked nyall. I'm saying that when he was on song he was awesome, but he wasn't on song enough!

Served us generally well Nyal but we moved on to better now
Worrying for him is many managers have tried and failed to get a consistent product out of him, unplayable on his day and awful on others, just far too in and out for a club with our ambitions im afraid
Hope he does well and penny drops with him

He's posted some clips of his goals at County on Twitter...
Feels like he might have been told he won't be coming back and its kind of a goodbye.

A player who played a part in our promotion. Wish him well and I thank him for his contribution to true club.

Ah I remember that goal vs Fylde in the Trophy so well. Went mental. Some big goals in the NLN promotion run in too.
He always had a knack for the spectacular and unpredictable. The problem was that sometimes you got the impression that the defence didn't know what he was going to do and he didn't either!
If he does leave - all the best. He has the raw attributes and the talent to make it at this level, if not higher, and had a decent spell at Halifax earlier in the season.
EDIT - Surprised his goal vs Chorley where he left Teague and CMW for dead isn't there.

If he is leaving, then I wish him the best in wherever his career takes him next. Definitely a player in there and just needs to find ‘that’ club where it clicks and he bangs them in regularly.
As part of the champions team he has to be fondly remembered, he helped us back on our way.

I wondered if it was a case of him putting himself in the shop window, so to speak. Shame really, he's a local lad and it would have been a great tale of local lad done well if he hit the heady heights with County!
