Boring. Perhaps it's to match our playing style for the season 🙄
That's a joke BTW.
Be interesting to see the 3rd kit however, looks like a slightly jazzy design 👀

I can't make anything out other than the home shirt and the colours of the away. Or does the 👀 mean you know something aside from the video?

Single colour shirts are incredibly plain and boring. Hell I'd take a chequered effort like Joma did a few years back 😂

As a kit geek, I'm not really sure what the point in a custom kit is if we've got a template logo. Understand we've gone down the Bristol City/Portsmouth/Rochdale etc route because it saves a few pence in the pound when it comes to manufacturing, but it just looks naff to me. It does feel like we're transitioning into something a bit more bland at the moment, even the corporate videos give me a bit of a twinge. What happened to just getting Kristian Dennis and sticking him in a car park with a working shire horse?
I actually went on the online store the other day to get someone a gift but just ended up getting something from overthecountyculture.

It’d be great to see the club working with the likes of OTCC, Casual Co, Hikerdelic etc, great Stockport brands who are all County fans, and get some ace original stuff in the club shop to complement the official kits and teamwear.

I'm with the comment that the 90s designs were far better. The best shirt we've had in recent years is the 2016/17 Danny Lloyd season shirt, awesome!

Thought last years kit was boring. Hope there is a mix of colours or something that looks exciting, and the players look good in.

Thought last years kit was boring. Hope there is a mix of colours or something that looks exciting, and the players look good in. Everything is in the eye of the beholder; I liked the clean lines of last year’s kit very much - in stark contrast for example to Hartlepool’s cheap-looking mish-mash of blue and white with absolutely no character, which could have been anyone. The blogger kid from Wrexham (Liam Roberts) - whose excellent videos many of us have checked out - chose County as ‘best NL kit’ at the start of last season - an independent view. Some of our older friends on here have a not so secret hankering after some of the older kits, particularly from the early 1990’s (just think Big Kev), but to my eyes they now look very dated and are far better displayed in the museum. If someone wanted to be really imaginative and entrepreneurial, perhaps we could use or re-create the iconic designs for something like handkerchiefs, socks, scarves - or whatever - to be sold in the club shop. I think they would sell, and would be something to talk about with the youngsters - ie those under about 40.

You say the Hartlepool kit could have been anyone but so could ours. Our kits don’t have enough white on at the moment. We play in blue and white and that shouldn’t translate to blue at home, white away, and then some random other colour when we feel like it.

the best way forward would be for the club to issue a number of possible kits and designs that would be available and for the fans to vote on the one they want the most. more likely they,ll sell more in the club shop that way as well.

I am surprised that's not happened before, given that they're mostly templates anyway.

Ee by gum... remember the days when the Premier League started in the 90s when football fans up and down the country used to criticise Man United for changing 1 of their shirts every season(1 year home, next year away)... now we are all accepting 3 kit changes every single season for non league clubs... how times change in less than 30 years.

Would prefer a darker blue but not overly fussed. It’s whats in the shirt that counts and anything that takes a boring brand of football away from EP works for me.
