Everything is in the eye of the beholder; I liked the clean lines of last year’s kit very much - in stark contrast for example to Hartlepool’s cheap-looking mish-mash of blue and white with absolutely no character, which could have been anyone. The blogger kid from Wrexham (Liam Roberts) - whose excellent videos many of us have checked out - chose County as ‘best NL kit’ at the start of last season - an independent view. Some of our older friends on here have a not so secret hankering after some of the older kits, particularly from the early 1990’s (just think Big Kev), but to my eyes they now look very dated and are far better displayed in the museum. If someone wanted to be really imaginative and entrepreneurial, perhaps we could use or re-create the iconic designs for something like handkerchiefs, socks, scarves - or whatever - to be sold in the club shop. I think they would sell, and would be something to talk about with the youngsters - ie those under about 40. I’m 32 and prefer 90s kits to the kits we have now. You say the Hartlepool kit could have been anyone but so could ours. Our kits don’t have enough white on at the moment. We play in blue and white and that shouldn’t translate to blue at home, white away, and then some random other colour when we feel like it. Disagree with just about every word of that - but that’s always likely in a thread like this. Blue and white to me = Italy, and for the Azzurri it is iconic in a way it is for very few others; I thought County looked anonymous in something similar a few years ago, it was not recognisably County, and it did not look good on the TV. There are a few clubs/teams with kits that are not really up for debate: Norwich’s canary outfit, Blackpool’s tangerine, Palermo’s pink, Croatia’s checkboard et cetera, for the rest, as shown in this thread, everything, even down to the shade and balance of colours simply becomes a personal preference. Teams like England that constantly change both kits seem to be less about pride and identity, and more about selling shirts - personally I dislike the current blue change shirts…a lot. Regardless, simpler shirts seem to dominate at the Euro’s at the moment. Regarding any sort of vote mentioned elsewhere, not sure I agree; if the ethnicity, gender, and age profile of this board is what I think it is, then any poll would be decided by white, male supporters, with an average age likely to be nearer to a pension than going to school. There would of course be other contentious, but diversionary and divisive issues such as at what age you are allowed to vote, should only season ticket supporters be allowed a vote, and so on. Anyway, we’ll all be able to put this to bed for another year after a flurry of commentary later today.

Ee by gum... remember the days when the Premier League started in the 90s when football fans up and down the country used to criticise Man United for changing 1 of their shirts every season(1 year home, next year away)... now we are all accepting 3 kit changes every single season for non league clubs... how times change in less than 30 years. its all about money to be made out of replica kits. for some reason fans across the country seem to want their clubs new kit and clubs know this. for anyone who was a kid before replica kits i,m bloody jealous of them. you were very limited indeed in the 50,s in football kits you could buy and none of em were close to your clubs ones even plain blue or red.

the best way forward would be for the club to issue a number of possible kits and designs that would be available and for the fans to vote on the one they want the most. more likely they,ll sell more in the club shop that way as well. I am surprised that's not happened before, given that they're mostly templates anyway. I'm always wary of this approach, the "Boaty McBoatface" fiasco is the perfect example of the pitfalls.

White one looks like a shirt members of staff would wear
The pink one is actually pretty alright. Hopefully they do sizes <5 yrs old for my daughter this season

Home shirt is pretty much as expected. Like the away shirt, and the 3rd shirt is great. 8 out of 10.

Interestingly enough the blue and pink one's are bespoke, according to the descriptions on the website! I remember speaking to one of the club shop guys a few months ago and they said, if we get bespoke kits then smaller sizes would be available I would hope maybe they'll release smaller tops/kits later on if that's the case?

I really hope that this is going to be a promotion year, as this kit does not inspire me to purchase it. I am sorry to say it looks utterly boring. The Pink kit is yuk!! The blue and white shirts are the same old has beens as every other season. Why can’t we smarten up our second kit a bit.
The players look miserable wearing it, what has gone wrong with our merchandising team, we need something that looks exciting especially as we now play boring methodical play with our square and backward passing movements.
Bring back the kits of the 90s, if you cannot think of better to move forward with.
I am now already looking forward to next season and hope our kit will then look more exciting than this boring monstrosity.

Home kit, simple, nothing wrong with it. Nice nod to the past with the away kit, looks good and third kit suitably different. I’m really not sure where you can go with kits, you can never please everyone, ‘they are what they are’ to coin a phrase.

Looks smart though we can't be doing that every season (and last season's was better for me) and I get people's point with wanting to stay a bit closer to our colours - i.e. including white. Third kit I really like.
