Also worth noting that Premier League clubs have also used trains for travelling to games. Remember plenty of times comments on here along the lines of seeing the City team at Stockport station ahead of a game in London. I doubt they travel the day of the game though? (I agree with the general point though that teams can't make their plans based on the off chance that a Train might break down)

and they will end up having to travel on a Tuesday and most likely book a hotel. Dagenham did it to us a few years ago didnt they. Game was still played though Dagenham was called off because I think someone had been hit on the tracks, so they couldn’t get their train up on the day. Definitely got postponed as I’d won hospitality tickets but was away in Porto, so managed to make the rearranged date! Yep, 100%. Was meant to be early-mid October but we ended up playing them early November instead - Nyal Bell scored a last min winner.

Barnet manager Dean Brennan not happy with his own supporters. A passionate and entertaining interview. Most comments from Barnet fans seem to be behind him but one of those interviews that could bite him on the arse if a poor run arises.

How did nobody spot that. Even the shorts and socks clash. The ref thought there wasn't an issue....

AFC Fylde given another manager their marching orders after a poor start in their quest to become a Football League Club. What year are they expecting to reach it now? What they didn’t realise at the time was it was for Dave Challinor… who got there in 2021 and 2022.
