I think we might win this 2-1.
Paper over the cracks and it takes them a poor October before sacking him and the season been a complete write off.
I’ve bought tickets for the family in UT2, really regretting it now.

Had earmarked this one for my return to EP for the first time since 5-1 vs Halifax, Boxing Day 2019. Kids, renovating our house, life… makes it difficult to get a pass out for County. Sacking it off though, just too much potential to be toxic, even trouble, County fans turning on each other… not worth it. There'll be very little trouble if any, the old Bill will be everywhere and there'll be cameras on e everyone, you never know the team might put a performance in. We’re always bobbins when cameras are present!

On the one hand it's a shame I can't go on Saturday, on the other hand I'm glad I won't miss another toothless performance from a team with no guidance from that clown in the dugout.
With Rusk in the dugout 0-2.
Without him a valient effort giving us a 1-1 draw.

I really hope we put in the good performance that we think this team is capable of and get a convincing win to kick start our season against the other money club.
Not just because I want County to do well (I always do) but because it could get really quite nasty if we don’t. While I’m not convinced Rusk is up to the job it’s not like Chris Turner where I thought he was a nob as well as being a shit. I don’t think he’ll deserve some of the abuse he could end up getting if things go south on Saturday.

Can sympathise with how life can get in the way of being able to attend the footy, & think you're dead right about this coming Saturday. I'm going, but can't say i'm particularly looking forward to it. Hope you get a chance to attend again soon, when hopefully things are going a bit better! Cheers, and obviously I hope I'm kicking myself come 5pm Saturday but yeah... just don't see it at the moment!

This is the last game I saw County win!!!!
Despite being in the UK from Sep 2011-Feb 2018.
I can't help comparing our situation to a Formula one race. Famous name teams like Chesterfield , Wrexham and Notts County have standard model cars which are tuned by a couple of mechanics and driven by someone well versed in the sport.
Wrexham in Ferrari Red, Red Bull Chesterfield and Mercedes Notts Co.
County however are in the fastest car in production- being driven by a man who can get from first to second gear but not beyond. The car is well serviced by a team of 14 mechanics - all in matching uniform with pretty badges and has a nice garage to sit in. The car however, might as well be a 1978 Austin Allegro!

Or a formula 1 car where we have signed up david blunkett to drive it.

Is it a 1978 Austin Allegro *automatic* though? I think they were the ones that were famously quicker in reverse, which could explain a lot about County’s strategy when in possession of the ball…

However your statement stands from what I have seen in limited highlights! Having lamented the lack of online streaming for us overseas I can now confirm I am rather relieved we don't have it at present.

Oh, and by the way, are there going to be any famous old faces there doing the corporate stuff on Saturday?
If so, can someone please check Alex Cowdy’s remembered a) to get the registration papers in to the FA on time, and b) to remind whoever it is to bring their boots?
TIA

I am firmly convinced that County will win this match, 3-1.

If they score early, then I'd be very very worried. However, I think we'll focus on defending and it'll be 0-0. I'd switch out Barclay for Palmer after his performance on Saturday. It's a shame Keane isn't fit because I'd have him in at RCB over post-POTS Hogan all day.

Just looked at the tickets available for Saturday, the Popside looks unusually full already. Sure it's just a surge of interest from locals and not our friends from North Wales buying tickets in the home end next to the usual away allocation.
