Hi gents.
There is a thread on t' other board about whether it's big and clever for County fans to threaten to sue other County fans and a brouhaha about which fans it is have threatened to sue other fans.
I've been banned there again (Bigmartin) for the final time. Fed up of certain people keep running to the moderators, and the moderators rolling over and issuing bans like confetti. Can't be arsed. Done with it.
But as I'm not banned on here...just thought I'd add that I too have been threatened with legal action over something and absolutely nothing.

It depends what's been said, there's been some pretty nasty stuff said on there, it can't be right that people can say anything without fear of repercussions.

Yeah I have read that but it is difficult to comment without knowing the full story to be fair. |

I agree with what you say Vic but if it was me that had had stuff written about me, I would just pm the culprits and advise them of my disgruntlement and as for an apology. Wouldn't threaten legal action |

I've rarely seen much written on there that's so bad as to be 'suable'....really I haven't.
I myself have written stuff which is controversial and baiting but I said NOTHING directed at the person in question which I could be dragged in front of a beak for.
I think some people demonstrably lack character. Someone who would swing their legal cybertesticles at someone else over some perceived slight is a bit lowlifeish if you ask me.
Probably ran to the schoolteacher, palm held high with thumb buried, in previous lifes |

I always try and make a point in the same way I would face to face with someone. Keep it polite and explain your point of view, accept it if someone has a different point of view. It's really not that hard to be pleasant to people in real life or online, it's just that some people seem to think their point of view overrides any others. |
