What’s with LT4 nearly been sold out. Wonder where they will place the podium for the trophy lift, surely halfway line facing the cheadle end?

Hopefully the club will have plans to actually allow a decent presentation to take place. Nuneaton was a shambles and even Jim and players got pissed off people wouldn’t leave the pitch to allow for a proper presentation . If we have already won it by then I suppose the obligatory by some - fans on the pitch celebration and knee slides will not be necessary a second time . It was mentioned in the Stewarding at EP thread that any pitch invasion will be self-policed and that, in my view, is the best way. Final whistle. Everyone on for ten minutes. Ken's announcement and everyone back into the stands for the presentation. Loiterers and weirdos will not be tolerated.

Surely if we clinch the title before Torquay or against Torquay, the mass pitch invasion will be that night. No excuse for another one against Halifax if everyone knows the trophy is being presented.

It'd still be a bit strange if the title's wrapped up before Torquay and there's a pitch invasion after. It'll feel forced; only really works properly if it's been achieved in the game you're at.

Selling very fast. Main Stand nearly gone and not much left of the CE, even the lower tiers.

Tickets are on sale for this one on COWS; I reckon it'll be a full house given the likely events. Cheers for the heads up. Got mine. Yellow Block already looking very full.

Said it the other week:
Halifax fans leave. Platform/table/sponsored "champions" board/whatever quickly set up at back of RE, directly under the screen. Fans allowed on pitch up to, but not into, RE. Players emerge from side of Main Stand by the police hut and make their way up. Presentation at back of empty RE, shown on screen. Fireworks and exploding streamers. Lifetime memories.
Jumpers for goalposts. Small boys in the park isn't it? Mm?
Joking aside, that ^^^^^ is what should happen. Please don't try it on the pitch, or at the back of the Main Stand. It's so important for it to not be shit.

Would probably be easier just in front of the RE, so that it could be started before they’ve left. An advantage of that would be you don’t have to factor in the rake either, nor be building around seats which is an arse.

Like you say, it's so important for it not to be shit.

Yeah a platform like Liverpool had in the Kop wouldn't be practical but one of those things they knock up on the pitch in a few minutes if possible. Or nothing if not - just have the players line up with the guy with the trophy on a folding table. Problem with using any part of the pitch is the fans and no barrier. Nuneaton all over again. Back of the RE means you've got the barrier, and the presentation is raised up so could be seen by all parts of the ground (and magnified on the screen).

Not a chance it’s happening at the back of the Main Stand.
