The thickos are already at it, suggesting he's a replacement for Barry. Bit unfair calling people thickos, he wouldn't be the first 19 year old to make a better than expected impact, however I think he'll go out on loan locally so he can spend some time at Carrington and adapt to his new surroundings.

It's more the fact that he plays in different position to Barry. And the same people have spent the last three months calling Tanto shit, so 'thickos' definitely fits the bill.

From a KR fan on Reddit, obvs an opinion based on him playing in a completely different league, but it’s the first I’ve read from anyone that’s actually seen him play…
”Well I wouldn’t classify him as a physical striker. Vision, positioning, One on ones and finishing are good though. A lot of the defenders in the Icelandic league are big and strong and he didn’t have problems scoring (and breaking the record) against them.
I’m sure if he gets some decent service he will be scoring bags of goals for you guys
Here he is in his last game for us where he broke the record scoring 5 goals. It shows how he plays the game. And I’m sure he will improve further.
I for one will be supporting Stockport from afar now”

Boades well considering we create loads of chances

Boades well considering we create loads of chances Fair to say League One defences will make him work harder for his chances, but on this showing an uncomplicated approach to the centre forward role and a finisher's instinct. I also liked the young fan rolling down the grassy bank after the 5th (or possibly 6th) goal; very Bradford Park Avenue.

He might be good enough now with a few weeks to settle I am sure Alun Armstrong was only 19 when he signed and he made a good start so it does happen

Armstrong came from Newcastle’s youth team, a very different environment

More of a Le Fondre, Oswell type. A poacher, instinctive finisher with his goals between the posts after sharp movements and off a touch or two. It's something we've not had in a while.

Limited footage but looks in the Langstaff mould to me where he comes alive between the posts and majority his goals from 6-12yds out

I do find it strange that we’re treating him the same way as we did when we picked up Chadwick from Hull.
We’ve reportedly fought off competition for him, paid a no doubt six figure fee and he’s an U21 international.
You’d think he’d at least take Mellon’s role for the rest of the season.
