I can see Hippo earning a contract. I really hope so. He's been brilliant so far. Agree but it would be hard not to offer anyone who are regular starters or subs extensions either. Could be some very hard decisions to make at the end of the season that might upset a few. |

Hinchliffe, Minihan, Palmer and Hippolyte all deserve another year at least. Heard a rumour a while ago of George Thomason from Bolton. Also think we may see a Hartlepool player come in next season. Maybe a right sided defender. It all depends on which division we are in next season.
Love us to sign Colby Bishop, Accrington’s prolific striker.

Probably not going to be a popular post but....Ash Palmer for all his goals and getting his head on the ball I can’t help feel that he’s the weak link in defence. This is not just on the fact he got it horribly wrong with their goal yesterday but in many matches this season his passing and lack of concentration have killed us at times, even going back to Hartlepool at home in the play off semi final last season as it was his shocking pass that led to their goal. I honestly think that even if he signs a new deal in the summer that it will be for the bench because I’m certain that we will bring in a statement signing centre back.

Dom Telford, League 2's top scorer, is out of contract at Newport at the end of the season. I'm sure he's probably looking at a move to League One or the Championship but it might be worth seeing if the Vita cheque book can tempt him. He's from Burnley originally so might fancy a move back up north.
