A small “uh oh” reading that. Although Challinor turned down an approach last summer and there’s a chance we’re in the same league next season, so feels more unlikely than it might have done previously. If they can make it clear who they’re after nice and quickly, before the rumours gain momentum, that’d be great.

Very strange with one game to go and currently in a playoff spot, not sure I'd have made the change at this stage in the season, if it doesn't work (i.e. end in promotion) people will say it was a bad decision.

Surely, DC can see he has the opportunity to do an Eddie Howe, and take County from Div 2 to the Promised Land. And the 'Powers that Be' surely can see this too, and be ready to reward him to ensure he isn't tempted elsewhere.

To be fair, I can’t see a single Barnsley fan suggesting DC and he isn’t on the initial list on the betting sites! Just recalled him being approached by Barnsley last summer so thought they may be tempted to revisit.

Tykes fans seem to want Michael Duff back, & are relieved that Collins has finally been shown the door, but plenty of comments suggesting that the club is in turmoil behind the scenes. If you were DC, would you really want to give up a successful side & an owner who backs you, to walk into the unknown

My Lot & Richie Wellens both turned down the opportunity to speak with Cardiff.

That said, all four promoted teams from last year kept their managers until Evans went to Rotherham in the last week.

Wellens was approached by 3 clubs last season, Bradford Wigan & a Championship club (not Cardiff) , All 3 were turned down If a Manager is Happy in a supportive set up, they are only walking for a PL club. Except Evans. Challinor for me isnt going to be tempted unless its PL.

Donny leading 1-2 and now in the playoff places. Nobody is going to fancy playing them.

Bradford 0-1 up at Barrow giving themselves a slim chance of squeezing in too.

Most inform team going into the play offs. Just what you'd want and an ability to come back like last saturday when they were two nil down at HT and ended up with the same scoreline as us.

Wild’s teams love a terrible finish to the season don’t they.

Bradford and Doncaster getting into the playoffs would be gloriously chaotic after the seasons they were having up until 5/10 games ago!
I’d actually prefer either of them to join us over MK, Crewe or Barrow.
