Good lad. Shows operating budgets more than player values I think.

View AttachmentAnyone able to explain how Doncaster have had the red card overturned for this? Probably a case there isn't a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity with there being 3 Doncaster defenders ahead of the only Gillingham player who could have profited. But looking at it on video, I'm surprised it was overturned. It travelled at some pace and could have gone any which way which is a denial of a Goalscoring opportunity IMO.

If it's deliberate handball, does denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity even come into it?

On your image, I could see the case but if you watch it at full speed I'm surprised it's been overturned. Cynic in me says if he wasn't missing a Play Off match there is no chance it's getting overturned.

If it's deliberate handball, does denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity even come into it? Danny Hurst’s red card against Stalybridge for an almost identical scenario was overturned on the basis there were covering defenders. That’s the only thing I can see in favour of the appeal here too.

Again its not a total black or white law of the game and relies too much on the interpretation of the match day officials present on the day. I,m glad as it could help rovers in the PO and prefer them to join us much more than any of the other 3.

Blackpool owner in trouble. Those donkey botherers sure do pick 'em. They'll be marching down the promenade wanting the Oystons back.

Up that Fylde coast you've got the Fleetwood owner banged up. And Fylde's owners a bit of a loon. I must say there may be something in the sea air up there, many, many oddballs end up there.

Nice to be playing Blackpool these days instead of Flyde though, isn't it? See also: Lincoln not Gainsborough, Oxford Utd (if they stay down) not Oxford City, Cambridge not Histon, Shrewsbury not Telford, Brum (probably) not Solihull, Northampton not Brackley, I mean I could go on...

Looking very much like it'll be Birmingham City relegated from the championship (along with Rotherham and Huddersfield).
Always a moody away day that, be quite happy with that.
It's either Brum, Plymouth (no thanks), Sheff Wed or Blackburn who could be relegated to league one this weekend.

Brummie City just always reminds me of us getting slapped at St Andrews and they usually rolled over, or blamed the length of the grass, when we beat them at Edgeley. We must be due a result there. Everyime we played there you felt it was going to be 2 or 3 nil before we turned up.

104 years since we last got anything at Birmingham, a 1-1 draw.
Since then: Won 0, Drawn 0, Lost 12, For 6, Against 33, Red cards 3, broken leg 1, broken windows several, County supporter headbutted by a bloody steward FFS 1.
