Honestly do you really believe that. Roll on the new County orange away kit next season as a homage to the yellow and red ones of the past. Well what else is the colour purple supposed to signify? All the people in uproar about it can't string a single viable reason together why it's the colour it's been changed to, other than calling it 'woke' which means nothing in this context. You know what would really unify everyone? If they came up with a colour that combined all the colours ever used for away kits, across international, club, and amateur levels. I'm sure that would make for a lovely kit.

Who’s going over to Germany this summer then? Keen to hear people’s plans whilst they’re over there.
I’ll be going via Amsterdam on the train with a mate who lives in Dam but not booked anything yet so need to plan a route etc.
Got cheap tickets for a Romania game in Frankfurt towards the end of June but apart from that, hoping to pick up some tickets whilst we’re over there. Will be in Cologne for England’s final group game too.
Not followed England abroad before so looking forward to it!

Just ordered the away for my son. Didn't go for the home because of the collar. Not the flag design/colour (a 7 year old wouldn't give a toss about that), but because it's so ridiculously huge. Just doesn't fit the design of the rest of the shirt at all.

Got tickets to a group game in Berlin, which was actually our least preferred city as been loads of times before. Done nothing about it and in two minds whether to actually bother going. Have heard whispers from various sources about another County pre-season trip abroad and would probably rather do that. Will end up going them both so should just get over it and get planning, but I’ll likely leave it to the last minute and end up paying top dollar for flights and accommodation. Will be doing everything in my power to avoid any city England are playing in.

Funnily enough I've just booked flights today as I bagged a Serbia v England ticket in the resale. I've booked an AirB&B to stay in Dusseldorf and also looked at flying to the Dam and training it in - it was working out about £250.00 rtn for flights & train fares. In the end though I've booked return flights to Cologne, less time sat on a train and less things to go wrong but was £120.00 more. Not cheap but I fancy it. Usually book well in advance for England trips and pay as little as possible but have had my hat nailed on with booking so late. Ah well - hopefully worth it!

No real plan yet.

It's a bit like Brexit. Not everyone who objects to the design is a right-wing reactionary, but all right-wing reactionaries object to the design. I object to it because frankly it just looks shit & is completely pointless. I await the 'playful update' on the French tricolore for parity or maybe they could do a 'playful' re-jig of the stars & stripes on their own U.S.A kit?

I think it's fine to think it's shit. It's losing your shit about it that's unnecessary. It's a football shirt. England, like most teams, have had shit kits before and they will do again.
It's not even like most England kits have had the flag on in the past anyway. And no-one ever asks why we've often played in blue shorts when there ain't no blue on the English flag.
Interesting that Anderson, to take one example of the sort of suppurating bellend dribbling forth on this, was very happy in 2019 to stand for the Tories who were promoting a Union Flag entirely in various shades of blue. And he said nothing.
RESPECT THE FLAG!

Not 100% if France or USA have, but loads of other countries have had different coloured versions of their flags on shirts in recent years including Scotland, Brazil, Germany.

I know this is bordering on pedantry of the highest order but surely if you change the colour of say the German flag then it's no longer a German flag is it? Just a block of 3 colours that doesn't represent that nation? Be interested to see an example of that one if you could post it

I’m not sure what the two sides of any argument are. Those who are frothing at the mouth and those who couldn’t give two shits I’m guessing? Plus some of the couldn,t give a shit brigade who cannot wait to knock back the mouth frothers who brought it up in the first place. What annoys me is that it is not a copy of a flag but one that winds me up more because it isn,t to give em an excuse to put it on to avoid and silence the arguments from those against it by not admitting the possible reason behind it. Just more uneeded division again across the country. I just want one person who is annoyed by it to explain to me why it’s “woke”. People getting annoyed at the colour change is one thing, I couldn’t care less but that’s their prerogative. But to describe it as woke is just silly. As for the “they wouldn’t do it to other national teams flags I’ve seen examples of Brazil’s and Scotland’s being altered on football shirts as well. Plus there was multicoloured crosses on the shoulders of the 2010 shirt. I think it looks naff, and don’t see why they’ve done it, but I also think people are only getting riled up because getting riled up by “culture wars” is people’s default setting these days.
